“Hawaii is paradise for them” and “this holiday has brought them closer together than ever,” adds the suspicious tipster. “Julia Roberts, Danny Moder Went On Vacation To Rome To Save Marriage?” Gossip Cop, 18 Feb. 2019. It seems every time the couple goes on vacation, the tabloids say it’s an attempt to “save their marriage” In May, In Touch published a nearly identical story about Roberts and Moder taking a trip to Hawaii to save their marriage. Gossip Cop busted that story by pointing out that just months before the report was published, Roberts’ appeared on Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop podcast and referred to her husband as “just my favorite human.” That hardly sounds like a wife constantly needing to save her marriage with lavish vacations. In July, Roberts’ took to Instagram to wish a happy anniversary to Moder by wearing a tee-shirt with a young Moder riding a bicycle as a kid on it, calling herself “The Wheelie King’s Wife” with heart and ring emojis celebrating their 17 years together. Gossip Cop can confirms that the tabloid’s story is completely false. “Julia Roberts, Danny Moder Took Trip To Hawaii To Save Marriage?” Gossip Cop, 9 May 2019. A tabloid claims Julia Roberts and her husband Danny Moder recently took a trip to Hawaii to “salvage their marriage.” There’s no truth to the story. An article in this week’s OK! In February, a few months before the couple supposedly saved their marriage in Hawaii, Roberts and Moder were in Rome saving their marriage. That report, from Woman’s Day, made most of the same claims as these Hawaii stories. Roberts, Moder and their three children did take trip to Hawaii recently, but that’s where the story should end. Magazine
Roberts, Julia. Gossip Cop can debunk it. The article also said Roberts and Moder went away to “reconnect and save their marriage.” It’s astounding that only a few months later, another outlet recycled the premise because the spouses went to Hawaii again. says the couple’s 17-year-marriage “was experiencing a serious lull” and so the family “decamped to their happy place, Hawaii” and it “helped reignite the spark between the super-private couple.” The tabloid quotes a supposed “source” as saying, “Raising a family and trying to keep the romance alive has been hard.”
The “insider” further alleged that “thanks to lots of open communication, marriage counseling – and regular date nights – Julia and Danny are back on track.” It’s the trip to Hawaii that, according to the dubious source, ultimately saved their marriage. Julia Roberts OK! Unfortunately, the tabloids love rehashing this same narrative. There’s absolutely no evidence that the actress’s marriage is in any kind of trouble.
