Gossip Cop can set the record straight. The latest issue of the New Idea is claiming that the Clooneys are “struggling to keep their marriage afloat” following “explosive fights over their different parenting styles. One tabloid is pushing that story, the latest in a long series of phony narratives about celebrity couples supposedly breaking up under the pressure of quarantine. The reality, of course, is that the couple postponed their wedding due to the pandemic. 4:00 pm, May 18, 2020(Getty Images)Has George and Amal Clooney‘s marriage finally reached its “breaking point” while in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic? Gossip Cop reached out to a source close to the couple who dismissed the story as “silly,” adding that “all is good” with Lopez and Rodriguez. In early April, Gossip Cop debunked an article from Heat alleging that Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Brad Falchuk were “struggling” in the confinement together. Not The First Time For The ClooneysAs the coronavirus lockdown has pressed on in Los Angeles and the rest of the country, the “celebrity marriage in turmoil” trope is one the tabloid world has been falling back on an awful lot. Witherspoon, Kunis, and Roberts and their respective husbands are each frequent targets of divorce rumors, and the tabloid’s claim that the couples were struggling because of quarantine was just a new spin on a tired old story – one that, by the looks of it, isn’t going away. In late April, In Touch falsely claimed that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez were living in a “house of horrors” due to the chaos of having all of their children in close quarters together, and had postponed their wedding due to both having doubts about marriage. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Seriously, the tabloid isn’t even trying with this one. Just a few weeks ago, Gossip Cop debunked another story from the Globe insisting that the Clooneys were heading for a $500 million divorce, despite its sister publication claiming the exact opposite: that the quarantine had brought the star couple closer together, though the idea that they had been having marital problems at all was totally unfounded.Other Couples Have Suffered Similar ClaimsOther celebrity couples have been shoehorned into the same bogus narrative. In October 2018, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid for falsely claiming George was divorcing Amal while she was pregnant with their third baby. 2019.Shuster, Andrew. 18 Dec. Brie Larson George Clooney Woman’s Day
Shuster, Andrew. It seems Woman’s Day simply saw photos of Clooney and Larson shooting an ad together and came up with this bogus narrative. Last month, Clooney and Larson were spotted riding white donkeys while filming a commercial for Nespresso in Spain. Gossip Cop checked in with sources close to the situation, who assure us that Clooney didn’t get flirty with Larson on the set of their commercial, nor is she pursuing a married man. “George Clooney, Amal Clooney On ‘Brink Of Divorce’?” Gossip Cop, 7 May 2019. Back in April, Gossip Cop busted NW for falsely claiming Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, was jealous of his friendship with Larson, with whom he co-stars in Avengers: Endgame. A headline in the latest issue of the magazine reads, “Watch Out Amal: Brie’s After George!”
The accompanying article says Clooney’s wife has some “fierce competition” because the Captain Marvel star has “fallen for his charms.” An alleged insider tells the magazine, “She definitely fell victim to the George effect. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim otherwise. There seems to be a theme developing here when it comes to Larson supposedly getting close to her married male co-stars. “Chris Hemsworth’s Wife Worried About Brie Larson Stealing Him?” Gossip Cop, 29 Apr. The supposed tipster continues, “It’s fair to say she developed a bit of a crush on George, who was lapping up the attention she was lavishing on him.” The seemingly phony source adds, “Amal knows George is a flirt and hopefully Brie realizes it’s just a bit of friendly fun, certainly nothing more.”

The seemingly made-up tipster goes on to say that George “is swearing up and down it’s nonsense, and that the timing isn’t possible because he didn’t sleep with Stacy between the time they officially split and when he and Amal started dating.” The human rights lawyer, however, is said to be “heartbroken” over the situation and wants her husband to submit to a DNA test. The similar-sounding incident never occurred. The questionable source further contends that the “paternity scandal” is coming on the heels of months of tension between the spouses. In reality, the actor never received a letter asking for a DNA test, and no one in Keibler’s inner circle believes her daughter secretly belongs to George. It’s clear they aren’t going through any sort of marital crisis, despite the magazine constantly alleging otherwise. According to the National Enquirer, the movie star is suspected of impregnating ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler around the same time he started dating Amal in 2013. “Amal was in shock at first, but once the enormity of the allegations set in, she went on the warpath,” a supposed source tells the outlet. Gossip Cop can debunk the premise. The supposed controversy was invented by the magazine. “No wonder people are starting to think she’ll eventually walk out on George for good.”
Gossip Cop already debunked this narrative last week when NW similarly alleged that George might be the real father of Keibler’s oldest child. The magazine alleges that an anonymous letter arrived at the couple’s Lake Como home, and it demanded that George take a DNA test to determine if he’s the real father of Keibler’s five-year-old daughter Ava, whom she shares with husband Jared Pobre. In May, Gossip Cop busted the same publication for falsely claiming Amal had dumped George on his birthday. As we noted at the time, a family photo that Keibler posted on Instagram shows that Ava looks very much like Pobre, her actual dad. In January, the tabloid wrongly reported Amal had moved out of the home she shares with George in England and took their twins with her. The outlet claimed that while she wouldn’t mention him by name, they would be “obvious digs at Brad.” However, even an insider in Jolie’s camp told Gossip Cop the tale was untrue. Shuster, Andrew. Shuster, Andrew. Jolie, however, is said to be adamant about adopting another child without her estranged husband, as it “will mean she has something all hers that Brad has nothing to do with.”
The magazine’s report is flat-out fictional. That piece was similarly fabricated. 2018. For instance, not long ago the publication insisted Jolie was planning to get revenge on Pitt through a number of TV interviews. (Getty Images)
Is Brad Pitt furious over Angelina Jolie’s plans to adopt another child? Additionally, almost exactly a year ago to the day, the magazine swore up and down Pitt wanted to have babies with Neri Oxman. It also noted that the actor is “pro-adoption” and would like to have kids with the MIT professor “naturally or via adoption or surrogate.” Of course, as Gossip Cop was among the first to report and as Oxman herself later confirmed, the two never dated. 2019. Meanwhile, Heat doesn’t exactly have a stellar record when it comes to Jolie, Pitt, and topics related to kids. 2018. That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids. Earlier this year, the publication concocted a report about Pitt’s buddy George Clooney adopting a baby girl with his wife Amal. All the stories had one thing in common: they weren’t true. “Brad Pitt Wants Babies With Neri Oxman?” Gossip Cop, 24 Apr. Suffice to say, the actor isn’t upset about a made-up scenario. Actually, it appears the magazine likes adding adoption angles to its bogus stories. An alleged insider tells Heat, “Angelina desperately wants to have another child, and is already actively working with an adoption agency to make it happen.” Glaringly, the unreliable outlet doesn’t bother to mention which country the child is coming from. “George Clooney, Amal Adopting Baby Girl?” Gossip Cop, 15 Jan. In the last year alone, the actress was said to be taking in kids from Syria and Africa. Shuster, Andrew. It should be noted, the tabloids have been spreading similar narratives for quite some time. Still, its so-called “source” asserts, “She wants a fresh start, and was advised by one of her therapists that adopting would be a great way to move on and mark an exciting new chapter.”
The questionable tipster further contends that Jolie “hasn’t ruled out the idea of having more than one” child, and has been discussing the idea with her six children, who are said to be “thrilled at the prospect of getting another brother or sister.” As for Pitt, the “source” maintains the actor is “fuming because he feels like this is just another ploy from Ange to push him further out of the picture.”
“He’s scared that the adoption will make the kids want to spend all their time with Ange, and he feels left out,” adds the seemingly nonexistent insider. “Angelina Jolie Plotting Revenge On Brad Pitt With TV Interviews?” Gossip Cop, 11 Dec. Perhaps it’s time for the tabloid to adopt better sources. Much like the current article, the outlet had no details whatsoever, including where the child was supposedly coming from. Gossip Cop checked in with sources in both of Pitt and Jolie’s camps, and we’re assured the actress has no adoption plans. 2019.

The reason Gossip Cop occasionally looks back at articles from the year before is to help readers figure out which outlets they can and cannot trust for stories about certain celebrities. Stephen Huvane, spokesperson for Jennifer Aniston. In the intervening year since its manufactured tale about Aniston being “crushed” that Pitt was dating Oxman, HollywoodLies hasn’t gotten anymore accurate with its articles about them. On April 6, 2018, HollywoodLife slapped together a wholly fictitious tale, based on a slew of falsehoods, about how Aniston was supposedly bummed out that Pitt was spending a “lot of time” with an “Angelina Jolie lookalike.” The blog, often referred to as HollywoodLies, alleged Aniston was unhappy Pitt was focused on this “beautiful” other woman because the former “Friends” star was set on having a romantic “reconciliation with Pitt.”
To give the impression it had insight, the often discredited outlet claimed it had a “source” who maintained Aniston was particularly “crushed” because she and her ex-husband had recently both become “single,” and she “thought the timing couldn’t be better” for them to get back together. Was Jennifer Aniston upset about Brad Pitt seeing an “Angelina Jolie lookalike”? Nicol, Holly. Gossip Cop noted 365 days ago the story was a collection of lies, and it’s even more obvious now. While HollywoodLies seemingly tries to dupe its visitors with all sorts of concocted scenarios, particularly about people like Pitt, Aniston, and Jolie, Gossip Cop will ultimately expose them, be it in a day, a month, or even a year. Virtually nothing in the farfetched article was remotely true. As Gossip Cop reported from the start, Pitt and Oxman never dated, a point she herself later made to the New York Times in an interview. Aniston was not nor is she currently looking for a romantic “reconciliation” with Pitt. And lastly, the “Jolie lookalike” who HollywoodLies swore up and down Aniston was upset Pitt was in a “romance” with was MIT professor Neri Oxman. She didn’t have secret “hookups” with her ex-husband that were orchestrated by Clooney. The was the claim made by a website exactly one year ago today. Weiss, Shari. For instance, contrary to the claim about them having “late-night hookups” last year, before Pitt briefly stopped by Aniston’s 50th birthday party this past February, their reps confirmed the exes hadn’t come face-to-fact with each other in a number of years. The habitually disproven site’s phony tipster further asserted that prior to Pitt taking an interest in the Jolie “lookalike,” he and Aniston had been “secretly getting together for late-night hookups,” which it insisted were arranged by their mutual pal George Clooney. It bears mentioning, members of both Aniston and Pitt’s camps have assured us that no one with real inside information about those stars is leaking anything to an unreliable blog. At the time, Gossip Cop noted the report was 100 percent untrue, and now 12 months later it’s clear how embarrassingly wrong the story was. Basically, everything the outlet claimed was a lie. And Pitt was never in a physical relationship with Oxman. Matthew Hiltzik, spokesperson for Brad Pitt. For example, Gossip Cop busted the very same site a month later when it falsely contended Aniston was “hurt” Theroux was possibly dating Selena Gomez.

Not only have Gossip Cop’s impeccable sources assured us they’re happily married, and the Clooneys themselves have openly gushed about one another, but there’s also photographic evidence that their love and smiles are genuine. Gossip Cop, however, can bust this story. 2019. 2019. RadarOnline begins its latest inaccurate article by noting how the Clooneys were “all smiles” when they received an award in Scotland on Thursday for their humanitarian work. That, too, was a lie. 2018. Then, the blog buries itself deeper by gloating how it has contended a number of times that Amal and George are “in the midst of a nasty divorce battle.” In one section of the article, the outlet oddly reminds its readers how this January, along with its sister publication, the National Enquirer, it (wrongly) asserted Amal and George were getting a divorce, and that she had moved out of their house with their twins, Ella and Alexander, and into a villa in Sardinia. “Amal Clooney Moved Out Of George’s House And Took Twins?” Gossip Cop, 23 Jan. The truth is the couple remains in love and committed to one another, and are not getting a divorce. Shuster, Andrew. But that’s hardly the site’s biggest mistake. Aiello, McKenna. The most current tale about the Clooneys just putting on a “happy face” to hide their supposed “marriage troubles” is 100 percent untrue. “Amal Clooney and George Clooney speak to Prince Charles, Prince of Wales as they attend a dinner to celebrate The Prince’s Trust, hosted by Prince Charles, Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace.” Getty Images, 12 Mar. 2017. But, as Gossip Cop rightly noted back then, that was a lie. (Getty Images)
Are George Clooney and Amal Clooney just putting on a “happy face” to hide their “marriage troubles”? Next, the outlet mentions how two nights before that “they were at the Buckingham Palace, eating dinner with Prince Harry.” In actuality, as widely reported, Amal and George were at Buckingham Palace for an event with Prince Charles, not his son Harry. The often debunked blog’s premise about the couple having “marriage troubles” is its most glaring error. That’s the new claim coming from one of the celebrity websites. Bizarrely, the website touts how back in April 2017 it maintained the Clooneys’ marriage deteriorated to a point where George and Amal were “sleeping in separate bedrooms. And just a month ago, Gossip Cop corrected the same repeatedly discredited outlet when it insisted George and Amal shared a “romantic dinner” to work on their “marriage problems.” The reality was the Clooneys had been photographed at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles a few hours earlier, and so the blog used those pictures and opportunity to try to cover up its previous bogus claims about them divorcing. “George Clooney, Amal Set For ‘Custody Fight’ Over The Twins?” Gossip Cop, 30 Jan. “George Clooney, Amal ‘Romantic Dinner Amid Marriage Problems’ Is Made-Up Story.” Gossip Cop, 8 Feb. The truth seems to be of little concern to that website since it frequently publishes falsehoods about George and Amal getting divorced and preparing for a custody fight over their twins. 2019. That tale about them patching up alleged marital issues over dinner was also a lie. 2019.
A new story claiming Brad Pitt is “happy” his kids Shiloh and Zahara made friends with Millie Bobby Brown is made-up. Weiss, Shari. Brad Pitt Celebrity Rumors HollywoodLife Shiloh Jolie-Pitt
Weiss, Shari. Using that same construct again, after it was widely reported Bieber was suffering from depression, and was photographed working out with his wife Hailey Baldwin, the outlet contended it exclusively found how how he’s “happy” when they exercise together. An unnamed and untraceable “source” is quoted as saying Pitt is “happy that they’re making friends,” but it’s also difficult for the star to “see his babies growing up.” Are readers really supposed to believe an anonymous and almost assuredly fabricated source’s claim that only after seeing a picture of Zahara and Shiloh with Brown it suddenly dawned on Pitt his 14 and 12-year-old kids are “growing up”? In fact, the outlet is often referred to as HollywoodLies because of its penchant for fibbing. “Brad Pitt NOT ‘Doubtful’ Angelina Jolie Can Have ‘Successful Fourth Marriage,’ Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 3 Nov. In this case, after Pitt’s two children were spotted with the “Stranger Things” star, the outlet pretends it has found out Pitt’s reaction to them hanging out. However, Clooney hadn’t even heard about Pitt and Jolie getting a divorce until he was told hours later — after HollywoodLies’ article — by a CNN reporter who asked for a comment as the actor was leaving the U.N. 2017. This is such a common practice by HollywoodLies that within just the past 24 hours, it has tried this “happy” narrative three times about different stars (see below). “George Clooney ‘very sorry’ to hear of Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt divorce.” CNN, 21 Sept. “Brad Pitt: George Clooney Urging Him To ‘Do Whatever He Can To Save His Marriage’.” HollywoodLife, 20 Sept. Not surprisingly, this latest tall tale comes from HollywoodLife, a site that habitually concocts bogus reports about Pitt. And what it tends to do is craft articles that are generally upbeat and positive so that readers don’t question whether or not the stories are true, while at the same time not anger the celebrities to the point where they themselves or their spokespeople feel compelled to publicly call out the blog. But Pitt’s camp has assured Gossip Cop on numerous occasions that these stories are all phony. After alleging Pitt is “happy” Zahara and Shiloh made a new friend in Millie Bobby Brown, it then took the news story about Katy Perry getting engaged to Orlando Bloom and claimed it had exclusively learned her ex-husband, Russell Brand, was “happy” for her. We also caught the site when it alleged it had learned what Pitt thought about the chances of Jolie having a successful fourth marriage. Shuster, Andrew. 2016. LaCroix, Emy. While the articles are sometimes not negative and don’t need to be debunked, nonetheless they are still fabrications. “Millie Bobby Brown Has Late-Night Dinner Date with Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s Kids.” The Blast, 12 Feb. Matthew Hiltzik, spokesperson for Brad Pitt. Trock, Gary. “Story On Whether Brad Pitt Is Upset Over Angelina Jolie Adoption Plans Is Made-Up.” Gossip Cop, 3 Aug. As mentioned earlier, the site likes to take previously existing reports and adds newly concocted angles. As noted above, the blog has written so many falsehoods about him that in 2016 Bieber wrote on Instagram, “The website HollywoodLife is untruthful and hurtful let’s spam them and petition to shut them down!”
Now let’s examine the current made-up story about Pitt. 2016. We’ve been assured over and over that no one close to Pitt is sharing his inner thoughts with blogs and most especially with one that has been provably wrong about him. It comes from a site which takes information that’s been widely reported and adds fabricated angles to them. Pitt’s rep went on the record to call the article a collection of “complete lies.” The truth is no one close to Pitt is sharing with that repeatedly discredited blog what the actor’s reactions are or aren’t to Shiloh and Zahara making friends with Brown. “Happy 2nd Anniversary Of Justin Bieber Calling HollywoodLife ‘Garbage’ And ‘Untruthful’.” Gossip Cop, 15 June 2018. Both of their camps confirmed to Gossip Cop that HollywoodLies made up its article. (It apparently worked with the easily duped International Business Times, which regurgitated the untrue report without bothering to fact-check.)
Gossip Cop will cut to the chase: Pitt’s camp has frequently confirmed to us that HollywoodLife makes up stories about the actor. 2018. It’s all just fiction. Gonzalez, Sandra. A visibly shocked Clooney told the cable network, “This is the first I’ve heard of it,” and “I feel very sorry to hear that.”
The site also maintained last summer to exclusively know Pitt’s reaction to Jolie wanting to adopt a seventh child, which was based on a tabloid’s tale. That said, over the years a slew of stars, including Justin Bieber, Kylie Jenner, and Selena Gomez, have still slammed the website for blatantly lying about them. There are such a tremendous number of examples, it’s difficult for us to narrow them down, but Gossip Cop will point to a few stories to help readers understand why they must question the validity of HollywoodLies’ articles about Pitt. That’s why, hours after the real news broke about the famous spouses splitting, the blog manufactured a totally fictitious tale about how George Clooney was supporting Pitt following Jolie filing for divorce. Among the problems was that Jolie was not adopting a Syrian refugee, and Pitt had no thoughts about the fake scenario. Following the publication of photos and video of Brown with Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids Shiloh and Zahara, HollywoodLies asserts it found an insider who shared what’s in the actor’s mind. 2019. Far from the untrustworthy blog’s claim that Pitt was “leaning on George,” and Clooney was “advising Brad to do whatever he can to save the marriage,” the truth is the Oscar-winner knew nothing about the breakup then.
The site spun that tale after other outlets had wrongly alleged they were romantically involved. HollywoodLies also made up a fake story about Jolie being “upset” Pitt was dating Ella Purnell. Not only is the blog untrustworthy, but it’s also clearly not very creative. But does the blog really think it can dupe its visitors into believing that until those pictures were published in the Daily Mail and other places, Pitt never noticed how much his three biological kids look like him and Jolie? “Angelina Jolie ‘Upset’ About Brad Pitt, Ella Purnell Dating Rumor Is Made-Up.” Gossip Cop, 19 Oct. 2019. “Angelina Jolie takes daughter Vivienne, 10, to martial arts practice in Los Angeles.” Daily Mail, 29 Jan. A new story claiming Brad Pitt loves how his daughter Vivienne looks like Angelina Jolie is made-up. “Brad Pitt Has NOT Been Dating MIT Professor Neri Oxman For ‘Six Months,’ Despite Claim.” Gossip Cop, 10 Apr. HollywoodLife, which is often referred to as HollywoodLies, proves from the start that it knows very little about the estranged spouses. 2018. As well-documented, the site has a pattern of taking stories posted by different outlets and then pretending it has unique insight into the situation. Within hours of that shocking news, the questionable outlet published a piece about how George Clooney was offering Pitt divorce advice and support, with a nameless Pitt source maintaining, “Brad is leaning on George,” who feels their “marriage can be saved.” Of course, at the time the site published its work of fiction, Clooney wasn’t even aware Jolie and Pitt were divorcing, and when asked that day by CNN to comment on their split, he admitted, “That’s the first I’ve heard of it.”
To recap: The website begins its article by falsely contending Pitt and Jolie “are divorced.” And unlike Gossip Cop, HollywoodLies never identifies or lists its supposed sources who frequently are disproven. After noting how recent photos of Jolie taking Vivienne to a martial arts class in Los Angeles led some to remark on their striking resemblance, the outlet writes it was “not the only ones who thought that,” and that Pitt himself “loves how much Vivienne looks like Angie.” In an effort to lend credence to its concocted report, the habitually disproven site alleges it has a “source close to Brad” who says, despite the actor’s differences with Jolie, “it warms his heart to see the kids taking after her looks-wise.”
The outlet, which has previously been caught fabricating quotations, then contends an anonymous “source close to Angelina” shares how “it warms her heart to think the kids are taking on some of the amazing qualities… in Brad.” Wait, HollywoodLies would like its readers to believe an unnamed Pitt source said “it warms his heart,” while a completely different Jolie tipster uttered the same words, “It warms her heart”? Lewittes, Michael. Weiss, Shari. Here’s what is really going on. But, as Purnell later tweeted, she had never even met Pitt. 2017. Among the problems for HollywoodLies is that it rarely fact-checks, and so the angles it makes up for its articles are sometimes predicated on untrue and inaccurate information. Weiss, Shari. As mentioned above, after a number of sites pointed out how the 10-year-old appears to be a mini-me of her famous mom, HollywoodLies crafted its phony piece about Pitt’s reaction. That falsehood was slapped together after In Touch claimed Pitt was “falling” for the star of “Sweetbitter,” which he produced for Starz. Angelina Jolie Brad Pitt Celebrity Rumors HollywoodLife
Suri, Sameet. The outlet asserts Pitt can “still appreciate” seeing Jolie’s physical attributes in their kids even though he and the actress “are divorced.” But as even a casual observer of celebrity news would know, Jolie and Pitt are not divorced yet, making it nearly impossible to believe the repeatedly discredit blog has any insight whatsoever into their lives. 2016. HollywoodLies has been engaging in this type of trickery ever since it was announced Jolie and Pitt were divorcing in September 2016. For instance, HollywoodLies posted an entirely bogus story that Gossip Cop busted about how it discovered Pitt had been secretly dating Neri Oxman for six months. Additionally, its quotes, such as the ones about how Pitt loves that Vivienne looks like Jolie, appear to be fake. The truth is no one from Pitt’s camp is sharing his inner thoughts with blogs. Next, HollywoodLies tips off what prompted it to make up its latest article. It comes from a site known for fabricating articles and manufacturing “source” quotations. As we’ve noted in the past, Gossip Cop relies on facts, while HollywoodLife routinely publishes fiction. But, as Gossip Cop rightly reported from the start, and Oxman herself later stated, the two never dated and only had a professional relationship. “George Clooney, Brad Pitt Divorce Support Story Made Up.” Gossip Cop, 21 Sept. Meanwhile, the magazine’s story is based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable “insider,” but Gossip Cop reached out to George’s rep, who tells us on the record it’s “complete nonsense.” Of course, that’s not too surprising, considering the Enquirer falsely alleged earlier this month that Julia Roberts was leaving her husband for the actor. “George is beside himself. Gossip Cop shot down that complete falsehood back in February. As noted above, Gossip Cop busted OK! In fact, Amal looks particularly svelte at the Nobel Peace Prize Award ceremony in Oslo five days later. In a wide-ranging Hollywood Reporter interview in September 2017 with George and Amal at their home in Italy, when asked whether they would have more kids, the renowned lawyer said, “I’m 39… I already had them quite late.” Just a month later while on “Extra,” George said he was “done” having more kids after the twins. 2017. Also, albeit a more minor point, the actor hasn’t stopped working. At the time the article came out about Amal and George having twins again, the actor’s rep told Gossip Cop on his behalf that the story was simply “not true.” And time has once again proven us right and exposed the tabloid for publishing a phony claim. “George And Amal Clooney: Date Night With Mom And Dad.” TMZ, 5 Dec. It’s actually a plotline the blog used repeatedly in the wake of their split. 2016. The reality is Pitt has been onboard with splitting from Jolie ever since she began divorce proceedings. Pitt’s camp has told Gossip Cop on numerous occasions that no one in his inner circle is leaking information to outlets like HollywoodLies. 2016. The premise about Pitt suddenly becoming “confident with his decision” to divorce Jolie comes from HollywoodLife, a site so known for publishing falsehoods that it’s often nicknamed HollywoodLies. Last year, for example, Gossip Cop busted the often discredited website when it wrongly maintained Pitt and Jolie were getting back together. “Angelina Jolie Files for Divorce From Brad Pitt After Two Years of Marriage.” ET, 20 Sept. Just days after it was announced she filed for divorce, the outlet crafted a phony article about how Pitt was going to rehab to get Jolie back. But right from the start it’s clear the story is untrue, because it was not “his decision.” As widely reported, it was Jolie who filed for divorce from Pitt, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
To bolster its latest tale, HollywoodLies quotes an unnamed, untraceable, and almost assuredly made-up “source” as saying their custody battle has simply “strengthened Brad’s resolve” to divorce Jolie, and that he’s now “more confident” their impending divorce is “the right thing.” Within the space of three sentences, the same seemingly fake “insider” contends that while Pitt was initially “heartbroken over the loss of Angelina,” he’s looking forward to “life post-Angie.” As Gossip Cop has noted in the past, an easy tipoff that quotes have been manufactured is when a site has its “source,” for example, first refer to Pitt’s estranged wife as “Angelina,” and then inconsistently call her “Angie” immediately afterwards. In that fabricated story, HollywoodLies once again trotted out a purposely anonymous Pitt “source” who falsely alleged, he’s “ready to quit drinking in hopes that Angelina will reconsider their divorce,” before adding, he’s “swearing that if he gets clean, their marriage will be great again.” But the truth is, while he sobered up, Pitt never went to rehab, nor did he ever have any intention whatsoever of reuniting with Jolie. Shuster, Andrew. Weiss, Shari. Immediately, HollywoodLife slapped together a fake news story that claimed George Clooney was supporting Pitt after Jolie filed for divorce, and was urging his pal to “do whatever he can to save the marriage.” “Brad is leaning on George for support right now,” added the bogus Pitt “source.” Of course, that report spectacularly exploded in the blog’s face when hours after its post went up, Clooney was asked by CNN to comment on Brangelina’s split and he replied, “I didn’t know that… That’s the first I’ve heard of it.”
Gossip Cop has nailed that website dozens upon dozens of times for publishing made-up scenarios and quotations attributed to supposed Pitt insiders. 2016. And while the habitually disproven outlet alleges Pitt is now “confident” with his decision to divorce Jolie, a better usage of that word be Gossip Cop is “confident” no one remotely close to the actor is sharing anything personal about him with HollywoodLies, including the premise behind its latest work of fiction. Gossip Cop can expose the site that manufactured this tale. “George Clooney, Brad Pitt Divorce Support Story Made Up.” Gossip Cop, 21 Sept. 2017. A story claiming Brad Pitt is now “confident” he made the right decision to divorce Angelina Jolie is made-up. And frankly, it’s been clear from the beginning that the blog has posted completely untrue articles about him. Regardless, as Gossip Cop stated above, HollywoodLies has frequently been caught making up bogus stories about Pitt. Besides the report being filled with fabricated quotes, Pitt has not had second thoughts about splitting from Jolie after she filed for divorce, following a confrontation on a private jet in September 2016. Last month, the tabloid falsely claimed that Aniston wanted to date a younger male star to get revenge on Theroux. Weiss, Shari. 4 Sep. That article was published weeks after the actress visited Amal’s home in Italy, but made no mention of the human rights lawyer getting involved and telling Aniston to date someone “behind the scenes.”
Another example of the magazine’s inconsistent narratives is a false article from March saying Aniston’s celebrity friends were setting her up with “non-famous men.” As time has shown, the actress has remained single since her separation earlier this year. 22 Aug. “George Clooney, Amal NOT In ‘Bad Marriage,’ Despite Report.” Gossip Cop. The outlet is no more trustworthy when it comes to accurately reporting about the human rights attorney. 1 Mar. “Jennifer Aniston ‘Isn’t Concerned About Dating’ as She Focuses on Work: Source.” People. Aniston visited George Clooney and his wife at their Lake Como villa last month, and according to Life & Style, the actress asked the human rights lawyer to help her “find the man of her dreams.” A supposed source tells the magazine, “Amal knows plenty of intelligent, sexy, successful men who would jump at the chance to date Jen, and has been busy compiling a list of eligible bachelors.”
The alleged insider further contends that Amal advised Aniston to stop dating actors following her failed marriages to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux. That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids.
Stan Rosenfield, Spokesperson for George Clooney. Richter, Katherine. Celebrity Rumors George Clooney Will Smith
“WILL SMITH (left) & GEORGE CLOONEY at the 2006 Producers Guild Awards…” Google Images. 6 May 2017. For example, the movie stars posed together and shared a laugh on the red carpet of the 2006 Producers Guild Awards. It should be noted, the tabloids have a long history of throwing Clooney into nonexistent feuds with other male stars. An alleged “insider” tells the magazine, “Will can’t stand the guy, and doesn’t care if people know it! In the past, we’ve corrected baseless stories about the actor being at war with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Ryan Gosling, to name a few. We’ve learned there’s no feud between the stars. 14 Aug. Additionally, Smith and Clooney have crossed paths over the years, and the two have been perfectly friendly in their interactions. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the bogus premise. Additionally, if everyone in Hollywood is aware that Smith dislikes the actor, as the magazine alleges, it’s unlikely that Hayek would include him in a photo celebrating Clooney’s birthday. According to the Globe, Smith is incredibly jealous of Clooney and has widely expressed his hatred of the fellow movie star around Hollywood. Photos from the event show the two happily chatting and goofing around for the cameras. The picture isn’t dated, but it appears to have been taken in the late ’90s or early 2000’s, so the actors have clearly known each other for a long time. 2018. “Salma Hayek Shares a Throwback Photo of George Clooney for His Birthday — and Will Smith Is There!” People. This latest drama involving Smith is equally fabricated. Meanwhile, Salma Hayek posted an Instagram photo of herself alongside Clooney and Smith in honor of Clooney’s 56th birthday last year. The outlet says that nearly everyone in Hollywood knows about Smith’s supposed disdain for Clooney, but a spokesperson qualified to speak on the actor’s behalf has zero knowledge of any animosity between the stars. The tabloid’s story is based on claims from an anonymous and untraceable “insider,” but Gossip Cop checked in with Clooney’s rep, who tells us he’s never heard anything about Smith bad-mouthing his client. (Getty Images)
A tabloid report claiming Will Smith has been “trash-talking” George Clooney behind his back is completely made-up. He gripes George is overrated and overpaid and even copied his style!”
The outlet’s questionable source adds, “He sees George as a cheeseball and doesn’t get why George is receiving a ton of lifetime achievement awards while he doesn’t get a look.” The tipster goes on to say that Smith’s “trash-talking” is so well-known, Clooney has caught wind of the actor’s insults and “doesn’t appreciate” being slammed by one of his peers in the industry. The unreliable magazine seems to be creating a random and fake celebrity feud for no reason whatsoever.
The questionable tipster says the attorney “is constantly cross-examining George about his partying, galpals and road trips with the guys,” adding, “He’s a Hollywood bachelor at heart and she’s a straitlaced lawyer who’s left with the brunt of the work at home.” The seemingly phony source also claims Amal “already had a secret meeting with a divorce lawyer.”
This secondary part of the report is also entirely false. 6 Sep. “Read Amal Clooney’s Entire Moving Speech About Husband and ‘Great Love’ George.” People. The magazine says the human rights lawyer wants one more baby, but her husband isn’t on board. An alleged insider tells the outlet, “George wooed her into marrying him by claiming he wanted a large family, but now he says that two kids are more than enough. Amal is terribly upset.”
This article is wrong from the very start. Magazine
Galloway, Stephen. I already had them quite late.”
The tabloid’s supposed source next alleges that Amal’s so-called “jealousy” is also causing a rift in the couple’s marriage. Gossip Cop can set the record straight. In addition to calling the actor her “great love,” Amal said, “Seeing you with our children Ella and Alexander is the greatest joy in my life. Both spouses have already stated they’re done having children. (Getty Images)
A new tabloid report claiming George Clooney and Amal Clooney’s marriage is in crisis because they’re fighting over having more kids is completely untrue. According to Star, however, the couple recently got into a major argument over expanding their family. Clooney told The Hollywood Reporter last year that he and his wife “never talked” about having kids “until after we were married.” The actor added that he and Amal “didn’t plan” on having children but both had a change of heart “after the wedding.” In that same interview, Amal was asked if she wanted more kids, but the lawyer shook her head and said, “I’m 39. 2018. 2017. “At Home With George Clooney in Italy: Amal, the Twins…” The Hollywood Reporter. Telling, Gillian and McNeice Mia. Gossip Cop has also reached out to a rep for the actor, but Amal’s own words disprove every aspect of OK!’s article. Amal praised her husband for being a devoted father during her speech at his AFI Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony last month. 8 Jun. The magazine goes on to say the attorney resents her husband for “partying” while she’s stuck at home “with the brunt of the work,” but Amal indicated in her touching AFI tribute that her “greatest joy” is watching her husband at home with the twins. Amal Clooney Celebrity Rumors George Clooney OK! You fill our home with laughter and happiness.”
Conclusion: The tabloid starts its bogus article by contending that the Clooneys are battling over having more babies, but Amal already explained that she gave birth to her twins “quite late” and isn’t planning to get pregnant again.
Of course, the outlet had no proof to back that up. 2017. Indeed, prior to this 2017 cover story, the magazine also claimed Aniston was pregnant in 2015 and 2016. Naturally, the tabloid never explained what happened to the “miracle baby” she was supposedly having with Theroux. Weiss, Shari. “OK! It’s clear the actress doesn’t have a newborn and that our reporting was correct. Earlier this month, the publication ended up debunking its own pregnancy rumors after claiming she was going to have Brad Pitt’s baby. We also spoke with a source who questioned why anyone would “believe” OK!, given that it has spent years peddling untrue pregnancy stories about the actress. “’Friends’ Reunion: Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Make Fun of George Clooney.” Entertainment Weekly, 8 June 2018. “Jennifer Aniston NOT Pregnant With ‘Miracle Baby At 48,” Despite Tabloid Cover Story.” Gossip Cop, 23 Aug. It should also be noted that while OK! Shuster, Andrew. Gossip Cop busted the story at the time, and now nine months have gone by. Unfortunately, the outlet’s reporting on her in the wake of the split hasn’t been any more accurate. Last August, OK! In early June, Aniston attended a Chanel dinner for charity, and days later she helped pay tribute to George Clooney at an AFI gala. But as opposed to caring for a newborn, she has spent the last few weeks stepping out at events. published a cover that announced, “Jen Miracle Baby At 48!” The tabloid alleged that “after years of false starts and stressful speculation,” Aniston was “finally expecting.” As Gossip Cop pointed out at the time, the use of the word “false” was an interesting choice, given that’s what this story was. In fact, its theory was based solely on purported “buzz” from “Jen’s circle.”
A so-called “insider” was quoted as saying, “No doubt they’re ecstatic. Lenker, Maureen Lee. Suffice it to say, the magazine may have a fertile imagination, but its stories don’t match reality. The magazine used that snapshot to contend it was taken after the “Friends” star told him she was pregnant. Aniston never ended up having a baby in any of those cases, including this most recent one. Magazine
Stephen Huvane, Spokesperson for Jennifer Aniston. Her friends say they’ve been trying since even before they got married.” The phrasing of those statements indicated that this supposed “insider” had no firsthand knowledge or direct confirmation that a baby was on the way. “Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox Buddy Up at Chanel Dinner!” Just Jared, 3 June 2018. Jennifer Aniston never had a “miracle baby,” despite a report last year that falsely claimed she was pregnant. Celebrity Rumors Jennifer Aniston OK! Debunks Jennifer Aniston Pregnancy Rumors After Saying She’s Having Brad Pitt’s Baby.” Gossip Cop, 4 June 2018. insisted last year that Aniston was pregnant with Theroux’s baby, the couple is no longer together. 23 Aug. The publication itself even admitted that it wasn’t positive Aniston was for sure pregnant when it asserted, “That Jen could be expecting at the age of 48 is certainly surprising.”
Since the tabloid very obviously had no information that legitimately came from Aniston’s camp, Gossip Cop spoke with her rep, who confirmed to us on the record that she was not expecting. The narrative was built around a photo Justin Theroux had posted on Instagram, in which Aniston was kissing him, for their second wedding anniversary. Had she actually been pregnant last August as alleged, she likely would’ve given birth around late May. 2017.
Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this tall tale. We’re told it simply never happened. It makes little sense that they would have to force a restaurant to kick out the other guests. Still, an alleged insider is quoted as saying, “A hurried manager rushed around, beckoning bewildered guests: ‘Can you please finish your meals very quickly. According to the National Enquirer, the couple recently visited an “upscale Japanese restaurant” in Los Angeles, but requested complete seclusion before they were willing to eat there. Much like most of what’s printed about the actor in the magazine, it’s all lies. Wednesday, February 28, 2018

Amal Clooney Celebrity Rumors George Clooney National Enquirer Prior to that nonsense, Gossip Cop called out the publication for falsely claiming the actor uses fake self-tanner. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, in oddly unnatural language, “George and Amal wanted privacy from prying eyes while they fed their hungry mouths.” Tellingly, the tabloid doesn’t mention the name of the establishment or when this supposed incident occurred. Regardless, the magazine’s narrative is pure fiction. (Getty Images)
George Clooney and Amal Clooney did not call a restaurant and demand that all of the tables near their vicinity be vacated before they arrived, despite a ridiculous report. Of course, the Enquirer frequently prints lies about the actor, so we’re not surprised by this latest phony article. Clearly, the unreliable tabloid enjoys creating fan fiction about the movie star. This latest article alleging that George and Amal cleared out a restaurant is yet another example. Gossip Cop previously debunked a made-up story about Clooney’s twin babies drenching his expensive tuxedo in milk. If the couple truly wanted to eat in total isolation, there are plenty of restaurants in Los Angeles with private seating areas. We also busted the outlet for wrongly reporting that fatherhood was “killing” him. We need to clear your table ASAP!’” The suspicious tipster adds, “One couple was so furious, they stormed out without finishing their food, just as George and Amal sauntered in like they were the King and Queen of England!”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who laughed off the tabloid’s phony story before exclusively assuring us it’s “not true.” The Clooneys have never demanded that a restaurant be emptied out before they arrive, and the claim otherwise is simply absurd. Share The Facts
