Furthermore, given the Globe’s unreliability, it was hard to believe what the outlet said. Her Royal Highness never ordered her eldest son to divorce the duchess. Furthermore, the outlet tried to portray Markle in a negative light, as others have done in the past. The publication claimed Markle was “scheming” to get a divorce from Prince Harry with a so-called insider adding, “You can’t tell me that this wasn’t her plan all along, to bring the boys to America, so she could live the celebrity life she’s always dreamed of.” Despite what the tabloid tried to allege, there was no evidence to support its claim. Gossip Cop debunked the untrue story when it came out.To sum everything up, the tabloids clearly have no insight into the royal family or any of their personal lives. Nonetheless, Gossip Cop debunked the silly narrative at the time.Earlier this year, Gossip Cop dismissed an inaccurate claim from New Idea stating Prince Harry and Megan Markle were getting a divorce. Unfortunately, the unreliable outlets often get it wrong about the them. One of the most common inaccurate tropes is divorce. The following month, the same unreliable outlet alleged Prince William and Kate Middleton were “in divorce talks.” The tabloid claimed Middleton was “jealous” of Prince William and their marriage “blew up” over scandalous rumors that he was having an affair with a friend named, Rose Hanbury. Gossip Cop has busted plenty of these bogus stories. The phony outlet asserted Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall “secretly filed divorce papers” under the orders of the queen because she wanted “all family scandals resolved before she dies.” A so-called insider added to the dramatic tale the Duchess of Cornwall wanted “all the divorce details be made public” because she wants the world to know exactly what went on behind closed palace doors.” Gossip Cop investigated the ridiculous story and set the record straight. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter We wasted no time putting the ludicrous story to rest.Lastly, just a few weeks ago, Woman’s Day falsely claimed Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s divorce papers had “leaked.” However, the sketchy magazine also mislead readers with its cover headline but a completely different accompanying article. The misleading outlet lured readers in with its headline but the cover asserted the duke and duchess were not getting a divorce but having “problems.” How could anyone believe what the tabloid conveyed? 11:59 pm, April 29, 2020(Getty Images)Everyone is obsessed with the royal family, most of all, the tabloids. A “royal insider” alleged Middleton felt like “she’s being taken for a fool and demanded her ‘rural rival’ be immediately ‘phased out’ of their lives.” While it was true that Prince William and Hanbury were friends for years, the two weren’t as close as they used to be. Here the four times the tabloids were wrong about the royal family. In March 2019, Gossip Cop busted the Globe for incorrectly stating Queen Elizabeth ordered Prince Charles to divorce Camilla Parker Bowles. The dubious magazine proclaimed on its cover “The Palace Confirms Divorce!”, while the accompanying article stated the queen was “warning” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex not to divorce.
But it also, supposedly, has a “practical” side: “Getting married on U.S. First of all,the tabloid initially suggests that the ceremony would be an intimate beachfront event, then names a long list of celebrities and mentions a “giant reception,” which is obviously contradictory. In a new story, Heat is now claiming that the couple is planning on renewing their wedding vows in Los Angeles. Share on Facebook Share on Twitter The article implies that all those Hollywood stars are already saving the date, but no one actually knows then the country will reopen again. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that the tabloid industry relishes in making up insulting nonsense about Markle and Prince Harry. Heat is no exception. Gossip Cop investigated the story and determined it to be untrue. It’s been an intense few months for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, from their announcement that they would be stepping down as members the royal family to their relocation to Canada and then Los Angeles, and most recently their announcement just a few days ago that they would no longer be cooperating with the British tabloid press. It’s not like Meghan Markle and her husband would be obtaining a second marriage license, so even if getting married on American soil would somehow help Prince Harry’s visa status, it wouldn’t be relevant in this case. Also, when is this second wedding supposed to take place? Shortly after their announcement back in February that the couple would step down from their royal duties, the tabloid published a ridiculous article claiming that Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie were fighting over becoming friends with Markle.Gossip Cop busted that one without much trouble, as we did for the tabloid’s equally phony claims that the couple were expecting a second child and that the duchess was going to star in her own reality show. And why would the couple fly their British friends all the way out to Los Angeles for a wedding when they presumably already attended the first one?Second of all, “renewing vows” is not a legal action — it’s an informal one. Surely it’s not any time soon, what with the widespread coronavirus lockdown and restricted international travel. soil will help Harry’s visa status, giving him more of a right to be in the country long-term.”There are several issues Gossip Cop sees with this story. “Of course, it risks upsetting the royals, but this fresh start is important to both of them.” Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly planning an “intimate, barefoot ceremony overlooking the ocean” that will nonetheless be attended by major A-listers, including George and Amal Clooney, Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie, Serena Williams, and Elton John, along with Markle’s mother and friends from both Canada and the UK. 10:00 pm, April 24, 2020(Photo by Chris Jackson/Getty Images)Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle planning to renew their vows in Hollywood? “They’re planning a giant reception,” continues the shady tipster. This second wedding, the questionable source says, might serve to widen the rift between Prince Harry and the rest of the royal family. Naturally, none of this has stopped said tabloid press in its continued search for drama, real or invented. “This will symbolize a brand-new start for them both practically and spiritually,” a so-called “royal insider” told Heat. That’s what one tabloid is claiming this week. Now that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have officially cut off engagement with major British tabloids, it seems likely that they’ll only be getting more creative — and nasty — with their rumors.
The insulting story was busted by Gossip Cop at the time, and West remains a doting father to all of his children. “Prince William, Kate Middleton Distancing Themselves From Prince Harry, Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 15 Oct. As such, the rapper and the reality star are hoping to woo the royals into a friendly foursome. The article quotes a so-called “close family friend” as saying, “Kim moved in similar social circles as Megs in their earlier years in Hollywood and she’s keen to get to know her better because she’s been looking to up her game socially.” To do so, the bogus story claims, Kardashian has “all but cleared out her schedule to have Meghan and Harry for dinner. This outlet can’t be trusted when it comes to either couple. It’s a wonder they didn’t find a way to wedge a trip to West’s property in Wyoming into the goofy report. Here are the biggest problems for the tabloid: Markle and Prince Harry’s six-week break from royal duty is over. Gossip Cop can correct the story. Almost exactly a year ago, after the Duke and Duchess confirmed their first pregnancy, the outlet again falsely reported that Markle was actually pregnant with twins. Considering the fact that the Middleton story was totally wrong, we’re even more doubtful if the tabloid used the same “Buckingham Palace source” for both stories. “Meghan could not stop touching her stomach,” an “onlooker” tells the magazine. Meghan Markle Prince Harry Woman’s Day
Scott, Hugh. 2018. The magazine lashed out at the Duchess before she had even married into the royal family when it claimed in Apri 2018 that Markle would be a “runaway bride.” It changed its tone later that year when it made up an imaginary “vow renewal” ceremony for Markle and Prince Harry that, although somewhat more respectful of the couple, was still a total work of fiction that relied on demonstrably wrong “eyewitnesses” and “insiders.”
In June 2018, Woman’s Day claimed Markle was pregnant with twins based on another outlet’s interview with Markle’s father and sources from the “US media.” Even when the publication identifies its source, as with the case of Markle’s dad, it still fails to report the truth. “She must be three months along — meaning she’d be due right around Archie’s birthday in May.” The tabloid also points to Prince Harry’s emotional speech about his wife and son as another possible indicator of the next royal baby. In that instance, the outlet took out-of-context comments about Markle most likely wanting kids and used them as justification for their rumors. Once again, the tabloid strikes out. “Queen Elizabeth Handing Kate Middleton The Throne?” Gossip Cop, 21 Oct. 2018. (Getty Images)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not expecting a second baby, nor is this imaginary child due on their son Archie’s first birthday next year. For any real announcement about a new royal baby, you’d be better off sticking to the Duke and Duchess’s personal website. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Renewed Vows 100 Days After Wedding?” Gossip Cop, 16 Sep. “Prince Harry Fears Meghan Markle Will Be ‘Runaway Bride’?” Gossip Cop, 10 April 2018. Gossip Cop is also extremely doubtful that a random onlooker was capable of not only judging whether or not a woman is pregnant based on how she touches her stomach, but also determining just how far along she is. 2019. Woman’s Day alleges the Duchess of Sussex is pregnant with her second baby, along with the headline, “Harry Confirms Baby #2!” on its cover. That site, by the way, currently features a statement from the couple detailing their frustrations with the gossip media and their intent to sue a different tabloid for unethical reporting. The magazine’s track record with the truth about the royal family is absolutely atrocious, especially when it comes to its coverage of Markle. Of course, the publication doesn’t bother to address how in the world a man’s love for his wife and son “confirms baby #2.” Gossip Cop already busted the magazine’s other ridiculous cover story about Queen Elizabeth giving the throne to Kate Middleton, so we’re pretty skeptical of anything the outlet has to say about the royals in general. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle NOT Expecting Twins, Despite Speculative Report.” Gossip Cop, 24 Oct. The lack of details and reliance on overly vague information are red flags on their own, but the magazine’s history of falsehoods make it impossible to believe this story contains any hint of truth. It’s just a bogus rumor from a tabloid. The only proof in the article itself, however, is Markle’s appearance at the WellChild Awards earlier this month and “rumors from within Buckingham Palace.” The main factor in the outlet’s prediction is apparently just body language. “Meghan Markle Dad Did NOT Confirm She’s Pregnant With Twins, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 25 June 2018.
The tabloids are clearly just reprinting the same old rumors year after year, despite the fact they’ve been consistently wrong. Heat points to Markle as the brains behind a Los Angeles property they’ll make “Buckingham Palace West.” New Idea takes the premise the furthest by stating the two have made their decision on one particular piece of property in Malibu that comes with a $14 million price tag for its private gym, five bedrooms, private studio and other luxuries. There’s one major issue with New Idea’s story: the house the royals supposedly bought is still for sale. New Idea, Heat and Grazia are all reporting that Prince Harry and Markle are planning on a move to a multi-million dollar Malibu estate. Neither has ever expressed any inclination of abandoning their royal duties or their lives in the UK. This latest take on the subject is simply the gossip media trying to come up with a new angle based on the controversy surrounding the couple’s private flights. Meghan Markle New Idea Magazine Prince Harry
“Meghan Markle Buying Home In Malibu?” Gossip Cop, 9 June 2018. The primary idea behind each of the tabloid’s pieces is that the two are frustrated with the backlash they received for flying on private jets after campaigning for the general public to use more environmentally-friendly travel methods. Additionally, this idea of Prince Harry and his wife moving to California is a tired narrative, and it’s no surprise that all three of these tabloids have variations of the same story within days of one another. It’s the Point Dume estate, which is still listed for sale and accepting inquiries on various realty websites. The magazine simply found an expensive listing for a Los Angeles mansion and falsely matched it to the two royals. We also called out New Idea in April 2018 for another very similar story about Prince Harry and Markle purchasing a Malibu beach house. Gossip Cop can confirm that all of these stories regarding the “royal move” are false. Gossip Cop already debunked Grazia’s claims about Prince Harry and Markle buying a home in Malibu last year. The tabloid adopts a braggadocios tone when it starts to casually reference Prince Harry and Markle’s future “A-list neighbors” like Julia Roberts, Matthew McConaughey, Sean Penn and others. The tabloids aren’t exactly on the same page when it comes to the details, however. That’s what several gossip magazines are claiming. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Bought Malibu Beach House?” Gossip Cop, 17 April 2018. Grazia subscribes to the theory that Prince Harry is behind the move, seeking to flee the aforementioned backlash. Markle is required to spend a majority of her time there to earn British citizenship, something she has already stated is a goal of hers. Furthermore, it’s absurd to presume that the couple would move simply on account of a spurt of bad publicity. It’s supposedly got Markle eagerly searching for “yoga and Pilates classes.” The Duchess of Sussex is even already researching “organic health food stores” in the surrounding area, according to the outlet. As Gossip Cop has pointed out multiple times before, it’s completely incorrect to assume that the British royals are capable of just moving out of the UK. That remains the case. Gossip Cop investigated the photos of the Malibu estate the royals are said to have purchased. (Getty Images)
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have bought a $14 million Malibu home and are planning their move from the United Kingdom?
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren’t leaving the United Kingdom, but the tabloids are once again pushing this phony premise. As time has proven, Prince Harry and Markle continue to perform royal duties and reside in Frogmore Cottage in Windsor. This narrative didn’t make a lick of sense. “Meghan Markle Fleeing To Los Angeles?” Gossip Cop, 30 Aug. Gossip Cop has debunked this bogus rumor multiple times in the past. The tabloid went as far as declaring that the two were planning to move into “a $10 million farmhouse” equipped with a laundry list of luxuries. Meghan Markle Prince Harry RadarOnline
“Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Moving To Hollywood?” Gossip Cop, 9 July 2018. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle NOT Leaving Royal Family And Moving To Africa, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 13 July 2019. Of course, it was never specified where exactly in “southern Africa” this farmhouse was located. The blog claims the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to relocate to Los Angeles, while the British publication specifically says the couple is looking for a home in Malibu. In August 2018, Life & Style claimed Markle was “fleeing” to Los Angeles to hold an emergency meeting with her mother to discuss “family drama.” The article was entirely misleading, using photos of Markle’s 2017 trip to Austin, Texas in an attempt to trick readers into thinking that they were photos of Markle traveling to LA that week. The most recent take on the subject is no more true than the rest. The gossip magazines have no clue what’s actually happening with the royals, but instead garner reader attention through fake “reports.” To no one’s surprise, Prince Harry and Markle are remaining in Britain, despite these latest stories claiming otherwise. 2018. Both outlets are wrong. Both RadarOnline and the Daily Mail are regurgitating the narrative this week. Back in 2017, RadarOnline claimed Prince Harry and Markle were moving to Hollywood. Not only has Markle willingly and completely retired from acting, but her most recent role — seven seasons on the legal drama Suits — was filmed almost entirely in Toronto. The tabloid alleged that Markle was “fed up” with having to follow royal traditions, so she insisted on a “move to southern Africa,” and her husband chose his wife over his family. in the three years following her marriage to Prince Harry. Considering the two never ended up moving to Hollywood in the two years since that article, Gossip Cop came out ahead on this one. The story was based on the fictional idea that the former actress wanted to return to Los Angeles after Prince Harry told her that he didn’t want her to put her acting career on hold. There’s no reason she’d want to “return to LA” after not spending all that much time there in the first place. For starters, Markle can’t secure British citizenship if she spends more than 270 days outside of the U.K. This past July, Life & Style published a story about Prince Harry and Markle leaving the royal family and moving to Africa. This makes a move to the United States entirely out of the question.
Unable to keep track of its lies, the reason she didn’t join the other royals during Trump’s state visit last month, claims the new report, is that she was too “depressed” and “ashamed” of her weight gain to be seen publicly. (Globe)
Meghan Markle is battling depression and gaining weight following the birth of her and Prince Harry’s baby Archie, according to a magazine cover story. In that article, it was stated Markle was a no-show to meet with the president because of remarks he made about the actress. It’s a photo from the episode on “Suits” in which Markle’s character Rachel Zane got married. More significantly, the main premise about the Duchess of Sussex still “gaining” weight and constantly crying in her room, where she “barely leaves her bed,” is clearly a fabrication as well. The only battle here is the one the tabloid has with the truth. It’s also obvious she’s not homebound, not does she appear “depressed.”
Gossip Cop, of course, has repeatedly corrected the Globe for publishing wholly fictitious tales about the royals. Also missing in the current piece is how the outlet insisted Prince Harry had a “love child” that threatened to derail his wedding to Markle more than a year ago. The latest issue of the Globe features a photo of Markle sobbing (above), along with the headline, “Tormented Meghan: Battling Baby Depression.” Inside the supermarket tabloid it’s alleged Prince Harry has sent his wife to therapy because she’s “struggling to cope with motherhood,” and has “become a compulsive eating machine, gaining a staggering 37 pounds.” After the outlet calls the actress-turn-royal “chubby,” it contends Markle can “barely waddle herself out of the house.”
From there the publication asserts it has a “palace insider” who shares how Markle has “been diagnosed with postpartum and has the baby blues so bad, she barely gets out of bed.” “The only comfort she finds is in gobbling sugary baked goods, which have caused her weight to soar,” writes the often debunked outlet. “Duchess of Sussex applauds after watching Serena Williams on court one on day four of the Wimbledon Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.” Getty Images, 4 July 2019. “Prince Harry ‘Love Child’ Wrecking Wedding To Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 17 Mar. Curiously, the magazine doesn’t mention in its latest article how it previously reported Prince Harry is not the real father of his and Markle’s baby. Gossip Cop shot down each and every one of those bogus tales. Meghan Markle Prince Harry The Globe
Duke and Duchess Of Sussex. ” Instagram, 30 June 2019. Egerton, Mike. “Prince Harry Not Real Father Of Meghan Markle’s Baby?” Gossip Cop, 11 May 2019. The report claims the duchess “can’t stop crying,” and is consoling herself by “gobbling baked goods.” The article, however, is inaccurate. “Prince Harry Had ‘Showdown’ With Donald Trump Over Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 22 June 2019. The magazine’s seemingly manufactured “insider” adds, “[Prince Harry’s] pleading with Meghan to see specialists, but all she wants to do is sit in her room, sob and wolf down sweets.”
Admittedly, Gossip Cop is not surprised at the falsity of the cover story, considering how many times we’ve called out the tabloid for its made-up tales about Markle and Prince Harry. Before we point out the magazine’s past fibs, let’s examine the latest article. “Tonight, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the first of a two game series of the Major League Baseball #LondonSeries… Just a couple of weeks ago, Gossip Cop busted the publication when it ran a cover story that untruthfully maintained Prince Harry had a “secret showdown” with Donald Trump. Actually, far from being depressed and holed up in their cottage at Windsor Castle, an ecstatic and decidedly not “chubby” Markle was photographed cheering on her friend Serena William at Wimbledon on Thursday. Six days ago, for instance, a slimmed-down Markle was pictured with Prince Harry on Instagram, smiling at each other as they watched the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox play an exhibition game at London Stadium. That was a front page story the tabloid printed less than two months ago. For starters, the front page itself is completely deceptive. The picture of Markle crying has nothing to do with postpartum depression or anything related to her life as a royal. And much like those reports, the new cover story about Markle battling depressed, gaining weight, and not wanting to leave her bedroom is also provably wrong. 2018. To recap, the publication’s entire narrative is based on an anonymous and possibly concocted “insider.” Conversely, there is visual proof that Markle has not packed on 37 pounds since giving birth to her and Prince Harry’s son Archie.
2019. Perhaps it’s time the magazine has a showdown with its supposed royal insiders and confronts them about feeding the publication with phony articles about Prince Harry and Markle. According to the Globe, Prince Harry “secretly confronted” Trump over his comment about Markle being “nasty.” After Trump insulted the duchess, the redheaded royal “refused to hold back” and got in the president’s face, maintains the magazine. Gossip Cop busted each and every one of those manufactured reports, which time has also shown to be completely inaccurate. “Prince Charles Disowns Prince Harry After ‘DNA Shocker’?” Gossip Cop, 23 Feb. “Prince Harry ‘Love Child’ Wrecking Wedding To Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 17 Mar. Also insignificant is Trump later calling Prince Harry a “terrific guy” after they met during his state visit earlier this month. “Fact check: Trump denies calling Meghan Markle ‘nasty’ despite recorded interview.” AP via the Chicago Tribune, 2 June 2019. Gossip Cop looked into the report, and it’s not true. 2018. Also not addressed was the cover story from 2018 in which the tabloid wrongly swore up and down Prince Harry had a “love child” who wrecking his wedding plans to Markle. The so-called “source” asserts Prince Harry pulled Trump aside and said verbatim, “How dare you insult my wife! Nor does it explain why the younger royal was even invited to the lunch with Trump after the outlet incorrectly insisted on yet another front page how Prince Charles disowned Prince Harry because DNA proved he was not his real father. You should be ashamed of yourself!” The quotes are so over-the-top and dramatic, Gossip Cop can almost imagine that tabloid’s informant having Prince Harry then challenge Trump to a duel. Suffice to say, the tipster and his or her quotations sound made-up. To back up its premise, which was not even hinted at by any other legitimate outlet, the publication contends it has a “palace source” who shares how “people tried to stop [Prince Harry]” from having words with Trump, but “he wouldn’t listen” because he was “seething.”
The publication’s supposed tipster notes rather conveniently that the purported “showdown took place away from the cameras that recorded” Trump’s visit with Queen Elizabeth and the other royals. (Globe)
Did Prince Harry have a “secret showdown” with Donald Trump over remarks he made about Meghan Markle? Interestingly, in its latest piece the magazine didn’t bring up last month’s report that Gossip Cop debunked about how Prince Harry may not be the real father of Markle’s baby Archie. Donald Trump Meghan Markle Prince Harry The Globe
Superville, Darlene. Actually, one of the later remarks in the article has the “source” saying how Prince Harry “can’t forgive the real estate tycoon for relentlessly stalking his late mother, Princess Diana, after she and Prince Charles split in 1992.” Naturally, no real person would say in normal conversation such biographical information as “the real estate tycoon,” as well as refer to Prince Harry’s mom as “his late mother, Princess Diana,” followed by a Wikipedia-like phrase about how “she and Prince Charles split in 1992.” And as mentioned above, while the alleged insider says “people tried to stop” Prince Harry from confronting Trump, it glaringly doesn’t mention who. What is important is that there was no “showdown” between Prince Harry and Trump, and not only did Gossip Cop’s sources who deal with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s camp say it’s fabricated, but as previously stated, no other outlets that relentlessly cover the royals have even suggested there was a confrontation, even “away from the cameras.”
The Globe, however, has a history of publishing provably false cover stories about Prince Harry and Markle. That’s the claim being splashed across the cover of one of this week’s tabloids. Whether Trump was calling Markle herself as “nasty” or was just referring to her 2016 remarks about him being a misogynist and wanting to move to Canada, if he were elected, is immaterial. “Prince Harry Not Real Father Of Meghan Markle’s Baby?” Gossip Cop, 11 May 2019.
2019. And even though there’s no proof to back up its narrative, the outlet still maintains, “This upstaging behavior has infuriated” Prince William and Middleton. ” Instagram account and photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with Queen Elizabeth, their baby Archie and others, 8 May 2019. “Prince Harry Not Real Father Of Meghan Markle’s Baby?” Gossip Cop, 11 May 2019. According to the Globe, Middleton and Prince William are “fuming over the Hollywood-style publicity grab” launched by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The simple answer is it’s not true. The habitually debunked magazine quotes a so-called “royal insider” as saying, “Hollywood’s trained Meghan to seek publicity, and she’s using every opportunity to get her face and Harry’s in the media.” Again, Markle’s last public appearance was May 8. “Today is #earthday – an opportunity to learn about, celebrate and continue to safeguard our planet, our home… It’s true Markle was an actress, but her and Prince Harry’s press coverage, as well as that of Prince William and Middleton’s is pretty much restricted to them attending events or supporting causes, sharing photos from their lives, and posting officially sanctioned statements on social media. The article ends with its alleged tipster declaring in ridiculously phony language, “Meghan and Harry may win a few battles, but make no mistake about it — the future king and his wife will win the war.”
For the record, sources within both royals houses shrugged off the tabloid’s tale. The supermarket tabloid alleges Markle is “missing no chance to make a publicity splash, turning her pregnancy and birth of son Archie into TV triumphs.” In reality, while its anticipated she’ll be at Trooping the Colour on Saturday, Markle has not been seen for a month other than in a handful of photos with the baby, her mom, Prince Harry, and Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. The tabloid also manufactured a slew of covers about the Cambridges. “Prince Charles Disowns Prince Harry After ‘DNA Shocker’?” Gossip Cop, 23 Feb. No one is engaging in guerrilla-style publicity. From there, the frequently discredited publication points to how Markle and Prince Harry have “continued to fuel the public’s ravenous interest with the debut of their @SussexRoyal Instagram account,” which the magazine notes amassed “an astronomical 5.1 million followers” in just six hours. 2019. When it comes to the redheaded royal, we busted a fictitious cover story about Prince Charles disowning Prince Harry after a DNA test revealed he’s not his real father. That’s the claim in one of this week’s celebrity magazines. Three months later, following Archie’s birth, the outlet similarly ran a bogus front page piece that asserted Prince Harry is not the real father of Markle’s baby. Of course, Gossip Cop is not remotely surprised by this latest article, considering how many fabricated tales about them we’ve previously shot down. Neither couples is seeking or needs publicity. “Prince William, Kate Middleton In ‘Divorce Talks’?” Gossip Cop, 20 Apr. Does that make Her Majesty and Archie publicity seekers, too? 2019. After there were stories about the future king having allegedly cheated on his wife with their friend Rose Hanbury, Gossip Cop exposed the magazine for falsely insisting Prince William and Middleton were in “divorce talks.” That was inaccurate, as was another cover the next week that contended Middleton “moved out” of the home she shares with Prince William during a “trial separation.”
On the heels of that was yet another story by the same publication which wrongly reported Middleton collapsed over Prince William allegedly cheating on her, and how she was found hours later in a locked bathroom at her parents’ house. “Kate Middleton ‘Moved Out’ During ‘Trial Separation’ From Prince William?” Gossip Cop, 27 Apr. The seemingly phony source goes on to say that the couple has been having additional problems because they’re “two very different people,” with George being “a prankster and a true Hollywood bachelor at heart,” and his wife being “a straight-laced lawyer.” The so-called “insider” further maintains that Amal wants her husband to get more serious “in order for this marriage to last,” and now he’s determined to prove he’s capable of doing so. News, 8 Jun. “George Clooney Tears Up During Amal Clooney’s Speech for His AFI Life Achievement Award.” E! The idea that he’s just a childish Hollywood prankster is nonsense. Gossip Cop can debunk the bogus premise. He confirmed he wasn’t and joked, “You don’t want me to be a godparent of anybody. There’s simply no truth to it. Magazine

There’s simply no truth to the tabloid’s narrative. in March for making up a similar story about George and Amal being headed for a split over his supposed “partying.” Meanwhile, the unreliable tabloid wrongly reported back in December that the Clooneys were expecting twins again.
And while there were many other outlets not mentioned here that wrote speculative pieces about the Duchess of Sussex expecting twins, there was one website, however, that consistently debunked it. Perry, Simon. The second one asserted she was carrying twin girls. Incredibly, the manufactured stories about Markle being pregnant with twins continued right up until moments before she gave birth to Archie, with places like the Express and Pinkvilla, for example, both running pieces that twins were a strong possibility (below). That was followed days after their wedding by a National Enquirer cover story that absurdly maintained Markle was pregnant with Prince Harry’s twin babies. Days later, Woman’s Day, which kicked off the made-up narrative two months earlier with its front page about how the duchess “wants” two babies, made its own wish come true with yet another cover that incorrectly stated, Markle’s dad confirmed she was pregnant with twins. 2018. 2018. Moving forward, Gossip Cop hopes those same outlets employ better reporting standards before birthing more rumors about the royals. Two weeks after that bogus report, Life & Style ran one of its own, insisting Markle was pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. For months on end, a slew of media outlets claimed they believed or even knew for certain that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were having twins, and for that same amount of time, Gossip Cop rightly noted she was carrying just one baby. 2018. “Meghan Markle Really Pregnant With Twins?” Gossip Cop, 1 Dec. (Express and Pinkvilla)
The reason why is simple: Gossip Cop fact-checked every article with our vast network of sources connected to the royal family, as well as with officials in the palace who have the authority to comment. The often discredited supermarket tabloid tried to convince its readers it was true with a photo of the former actress, with what it asserted was a baby bump. “Meghan Markle NOT Pregnant With Twins, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 30 May 2018. 2018. In March 2018, Woman’s Day alleged without any proof whatsoever that Markle and Prince Harry wanted twins. And covering its bases, the tabloid finished with Markle expecting twin boys. On the contrary, in an interview on “Good Morning Britain” around that time, Thomas Markle said, “I don’t think there is a stork in the air yet.” The tabloid was simply lying. “Watch an Adorably Nervous Prince Harry Talk About His and Meghan Markle’s ‘Upcoming Baby.'” People, 16 Oct. That was Gossip Cop. untruthfully contended on its cover that the palace “confirmed” Markle was pregnant with twins, along with an unattributed quote inside about how “we’ll raise our babies in America.” Actually, Kensington Palace confirmed to Gossip Cop then that no one from the royal household spoke to the habitually disproven magazine. 2018. But, as Gossip Cop noted then, the photo was taken in 2014, and she was decidedly not expecting. None of its articles were right. (Gossip Cop Composite)
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry did not have twins, despite numerous and repeated reports about them expecting two babies. Shuster, Andrew. It’s big proof, according to the magazine, was that when the Duchess of Sussex arrived in Australia for her first royal tour with Prince Harry, she covered her belly “with not one but two purple folders.” However, while speaking later that day at the Admiralty House in Sydney, Prince Harry shared in the singular how he was excited about having “a boy or a girl.”
Life & Style also struck out with its third cover when it swore up and down Markle was pregnant with twin boys. “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” Kensington Palace Twitter account, 15 Oct. Meghan Markle Prince Harry
“Meghan Markle ‘Wants Twins’ With Prince Harry Is Made-Up Story.” Gossip Cop, 23 Mar. Hoping the third time would be the charm, shortly after Kensington Palace officially announced the duchess’ pregnancy, Woman’s Day published yet another cover story about Markle and Prince Harry having twin babies. “Meghan Markle, Prince Harry NOT Expecting Twins, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 7 June 2018. 2018. “Meghan Markle Dad Did NOT Confirm She’s Pregnant With Twins, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 25 June 2018. And, of course, on Monday the couple welcomed their first (and only) child, Archie Harrison. As a reminder, the first one said she was having a boy and a girl. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle NOT Expecting Twins, Despite Speculative Report.” Gossip Cop, 24 Oct. 2018. “Meghan Markle Pregnant With Twins NOT Confirmed By Palace, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 20 June 2018. The false speculation began 14 months ago, even before the royals wed. Sadly, we expect the apocalypse to arrive sooner than members of the media issuing retractions or taking responsibility for mistakenly claiming Markle was pregnant with twins. “Meghan Markle NOT Pregnant With ‘Two Girls,’ Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 22 Aug. “Meghan Markle NOT Four Months Pregnant With Twin Girls, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 22 Sept. Then, having forgotten that it declared the duchess was having a boy and a girl in June, Life & Style came back in August with yet another phony cover about Markle being pregnant with Prince Harry’s twin girls. In that fabricated article, the publication included a fake quote supposedly from Prince Harry that read, “We’re naming the girl Diana.” Later that same month, OK! The magazine couldn’t have been more wrong, but that didn’t stop its other sister publication, In Touch, from parroting its tale with its own September front page story that exclaimed Markle was four months pregnant with twin girls.
The supermarket tabloid contends Middleton is “so shattered” by Prince William’s alleged “betrayal” that they’re in the midst of a “trial separation, even as their lawyers talk divorce.” The magazine further asserts Middleton and Princess Charlotte and princes George and Louis are now living in her parents’ place. 2018. A so-called “palace courtier” is quoted by the often debunked publication as saying Queen Elizabeth is “furious” over the the latest events. And we also recently exposed the publication for another bogus claim about Queen Elizabeth ordering Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles to get divorced. Gossip Cop, however, can correct this false report. “Prince William Seizing Throne After Accusing Prince Charles Of ‘Murder’?” Gossip Cop, 7 Dec. That’s the premise behind the cover story of one of this week’s tabloids. 2019. The alleged “royal insider” insists, “William has been beside himself with worry” since Middleton “won’t see or speak with him.” “He’s helpless,” continues the anonymous and seemingly made-up source, who adds Middleton’s “emotional state is a huge worry.” Glaringly missing in the article is when Middleton supposedly moved out of Anmer Hall and into her parents’ home, or how the U.S-based supermarket tabloid is the only outlet to know this, while no respected news organizations have reported about the duchess being in a “trial separation.”
The truth is Middleton and Prince William are not in a “trial separation.” And far from Duchess of Cambridge not seeing or speaking to her husband, Middleton and Prince William spent Easter together, and even visited Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their new home after church services at St. Just a week ago, for instance, we corrected the outlet for its untrue story about Prince William and Middleton being in “divorce talks.”
Before that, Gossip Cop nailed the magazine for its phony cover story about how Prince William seized the throne from Prince Charles, who he accused of murder. Denial from royal family attorneys, Harbottle and Lewis. Not one of those articles were accurate, and neither is the latest piece about Middleton having “moved out” and being in a “trial separation” with Prince William. “Queen Elizabeth Orders Prince Charles To Divorce Camilla Parker Bowles?” Gossip Cop, 23 Mar. 2019. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Of course, that hasn’t stopped the Globe, which has a track record for manufacturing tall tales about the royals. The supposed tipster maintains the queen has made it known that “little George is going to be King. “Prince William, Kate Middleton In ‘Divorce Talks’?” Gossip Cop, 20 Apr. 2019. (Globe)
Has Kate Middleton “moved out” of the home she shares with Prince William during a “trial separation” following the rumors he cheated on her? There is simply no way the royal family can allow him to be raised by commoners” since the Middletons are not blue bloods. “Prince William and Kate Middleton Visited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry at Their Home on Easter Sunday.” ET, 26 Apr. Hallemann, Caroline. Kate Middleton Prince William The Globe
Gawley, Paige. “Kate Middleton and Prince Harry Share a Laugh Walking into this Morning’s Anzac Day Services.” Town & Country, 25 Apr. According to the Globe, Middleton and her three kids have “moved out” of her and Prince William’s country estate, Anmer Hall, over the accusations linking the Duke of Cambridge to family friend Rose Hanbury. Also, contrary to there being concern about Middleton’s “emotional state,” various outlets pointed out how she was smiling and laughing with Prince Harry as they entered Westminster Abbey for Thursday’s Anzac Day service, which commemorated the military efforts of those from Australia and New Zealand who served and sacrificed in all the wars. 2019. As Gossip Cop previously noted, lawyers for the royal family shot down the cheating rumors, calling it all “false speculation.” We’ve also been told the infidelity accusations are wrong.
“Prince Harry, Meghan Markle In Love Child Scandal?” Gossip Cop, 5 Nov. She’s beautiful and wants to make the world a better place. 2018. Plus, she goes after what she wants. The pair didn’t have any sort of “fling” beforehand. (Getty Images)
One of this week’s tabloids claims George Clooney and Meghan Markle had a “secret fling” several years ago. The actor and the royal struck up a friendship after meeting through their philanthropic work. At the time, the actress was based in Toronto shooting the TV series “Suits.”
The suspicious tipster goes on to say Clooney and Markle “laugh about [their fling] now.” It’s unclear if this means Prince Harry and Amal are aware of the alleged hookup or if their spouses are “laughing about it” behind their backs. On more than one occasion over the past couple of months, the movie star has defended the Duchess of Sussex in interviews. 2019. Celebrity Rumors George Clooney Meghan Markle NW Magazine
Bricker, Tierney. Gossip Cop can debunk it. The supposed source adds, “After all, Meg would be exactly George’s type. She wouldn’t have been afraid to make a move on George when they were both single!”
As for when this so-called “fling” would have occurred, the tabloid speculates it went down in early 2013, a few months prior to Clooney meeting his wife Amal and shortly before Markle finalized her divorce from first husband Trevor Engelson. According to E! News, Prince Harry introduced his wife to George and Amal when they “started getting serious,” and the two couples soon “started hanging out regularly.” The genesis of Clooney and Markle’s relationship can be traced back to Prince Harry. There’s no truth to the story. “Breaking Down Meghan Markle’s Famous Friends and Why They’re Fiercely Defending Her Now.” E! “George and Meghan are great friends, but the way that he’s so publicly stood up for her recently makes it seem like they could have some kind of a past,” an alleged “insider” tells the magazine. It hardly matters, though, considering this is all fiction. In February, Clooney adamantly asserted that Markle was being unfairly “vilified” by the press, and in a subsequent interview he called her “a really kind and smart and intelligent young woman.” According to NW, the reason the actor is speaking so fondly of the royal is that they share a romantic history. In reality, Clooney met Markle through Prince Harry, who he’s been pals with for several years. NW is the same outlet we busted a few months ago for falsely claiming Prince Harry had a “secret love child.” The magazine has a habit of alleging that the Duke and Duchess are hiding skeletons in their closets. Of course, the unreliable magazine doesn’t bother to explain where Clooney and Markle might have met. News, 15 Feb. This latest take on the subject is more lies. Gossip Cop also checked in with a source close to the situation, who wasn’t able to speak on the record, but confirms that the tabloid’s report is total nonsense.
This time around, the royal household would not officially comment on the tabloid’s narrative, as a matter of protocol, but it did dismiss the magazine’s article as nothing more that “speculation.”
Lastly, the publication has been shown to repeatedly be wrong with it various articles about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Weiss, Shari. 2018. In the past, when Gossip Cop reached out to Kensington Palace about adoption plans, it was laughed off. It contended back then she would give birth in February 2019, which has already passed. On the subject of the subject of babies, let’s not forget how the same tabloid printed a cover story 10 months ago that insisted Markle was pregnant with twins. Last June, for instance, the outlet untruthfully declared Prince Harry and Markle were fighting and their marriage was in peril, just a month after exchanging vows. It’s clear, as they’re about to welcome a baby, they’re perfectly happy together. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Marriage On The Rocks One Month After Wedding?” Gossip Cop, 21 June 2018. (Getty Images)
Is Meghan Markle adopting a child from the Third World, so she can be like Princess Diana, Madonna, and Angelina Jolie? The unnamed tipster then asserts the Duchess of Sussex wants to follow the lead of Madonna and Jolie, who have children from Africa and Asia, “by adopting [to] give disadvantaged kids a great life.” Perhaps in an attempt to cover itself for when she doesn’t adopt a kid, the anonymous “source” adds how Markle’s plan could “backfire” and “alienate senior royals” with her Hollywood ways. At the time of that tall tale, we even wrote, “Gossip Cop suspects the magazine is actually hoping this narrative is long forgotten by then.” Well, we didn’t forget about that lie, nor will we when it comes to the bogus adoption report which drags in Princess Diana, Madonna and Jolie. Last March, Gossip Cop busted the very same tabloid when it similarly claimed Markle and Prince Harry wanted to adopt “multiracial children” just like Jolie has done. Weiss, Shari. The magazine’s story is not only false, but it’s also unoriginal. “Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Want To Adopt ‘Multiracial Children’ Like Angelina Jolie?” Gossip Cop, 24 Mar. Angelina Jolie Celebrity Rumors Madonna Meghan Markle National Enquirer Princess Diana
Weiss, Shari. In fact, it seems like the Enquirer went back into its files from exactly a year ago when it came up with this tale. Kensington Palace media relations office. 2018. According to the National Enquirer, Markle wants to become the “first royal to adopt.” The supermarket tabloid insinuates, though, her motivation for adopting a kid from an “impoverished” or “third world” country is possibly more about perception than about compassion. Gossip Cop looked into the story, and there’s nothing to substantiate it. The magazine alleges it has a source who says Markle’s “charity stunts” are really because she’s “desperate to be seen as some kind of modern version of Di,” who devoted herself to the plight of poor and sick children. That is what’s being claimed by one of the tabloids. Several months later in August, the tabloid’s sister publication, the Globe, ran a cover story that went a little further, maintaining Markle and Prince Harry had already adopted an “African baby.” In that piece, an unidentified tipster was quoted as saying the royals want to “have a rainbow family like Angelina Jolie.” It appears the inclusion of Princess Diana and Madonna in the current article is to make the latest report appear new and different. Weiss, Shari. “Meghan Markle NOT Pregnant With Twins, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 30 May 2018. “Meghan Markle, Prince Harry NOT Adopting African Baby, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 16 Aug.
“Prince Harry ‘Real Dad’ Cover Story Is NOT True.” Gossip Cop, 28 Feb. Nearly one year ago, the same tabloid untruthfully maintained Prince Harry had a secret “love child” that was putting his wedding to Markle in jeopardy. According to the cover of the Globe, Prince Charles has cut out his youngest son after it was “revealed the renegade redhead isn’t really a member of the royal family.” Continuing with its emphasis on alliteration over accuracy, the supermarket tabloid contends the father and son recently had a “furious fight” that could tear apart the monarchy. “Prince Harry ‘Love Child’ Wrecking Wedding To Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 17 Mar. 2018. “Queen Elizabeth Collapsed After Prince Philip Cancer Diagnosis?” Gossip Cop, 4 Aug. Much like that disputed story, the current one also places tremendous weight on how both Prince Harry and Dyer have red hair. The story is both untrue and unoriginal. Weiss, Shari. “Prince William Seizing Throne After Accusing Prince Charles Of ‘Murder’?” Gossip Cop, 7 Dec. The Globe likes to make up a lot of stories about the royals, all while claiming it has palace insiders. To push along its false narrative, the often discredited magazine alleges a “senior courtier” tells that publication (and no legitimate outlets), “Harry and his wife, Meghan, have been banned from family gatherings.”
The supposed “courtier,” who informally calls the royals by their first names and offers details in unnatural language, asserts, “They’re disowned, and Charles is insisting he did not sire Harry… The Prince of Wales claims red-haired former royal bodyguard Mark Dyer is the real father.” The tabloid further maintains “Charles’ bombshell hit Harry like an ax between the eyes,” and Prince William was also “shaken by the revelation.”
The outlet alleges this “bombshell” about Prince Harry’s “real father” emerged during a shouting match between him and Prince Charles over Markle’s “bizarre behavior” and “flouting of royal rules.” During the fight, says the publication’s almost assuredly fabricated source, Prince Charles supposedly told his son he was “common-born,” and “I’m not your father… and I have the DNA tests to prove it.”
Of Dyer, the anonymous tipster blathers how he and Prince Harry “look more like father and son than Harry and Charles ever will.” The untraceable source states, “Mark is often referred to as Harry’s mentor and second father, but he’s much more. 2018. 2018. 2018. That never happened, nor did Prince William accuse Prince Charles of murder and then seized the throne. Also fictitious was the cover story about Queen Elizabeth collapsing after hearing Prince Philip was diagnosed with cancer. Kensington Palace media relations office, 28 Feb. In fact, almost exactly one year ago to the date, Gossip Cop busted the magazine’s sister outlet, the National Enquirer, when it also falsely claimed Prince Harry’s “real dad” is Dyer and not Prince Charles. Actually, other than hair color, the young royal looks nothing like Dyer. Despite the assertion that the revelation “hit Harry like an ax” and Prince William was also “shaken,” this bogus claim would surprise no one since it’s an old tale that has previously been debunked. “Royal look-alike: Prince Harry in uniform looks just like Prince Philip from 1957 pic.” Today Show, 21 Oct. “Queen Elizabeth Collapsed After Meghan Markle Starts Family War?” Gossip Cop, 22 Dec. Celebrity Rumors Katharine McPhee OK! 2019. Despite the tabloid’s story lacking logic and being riddled with inaccuracies, Gossip Cop still checked in with McPhee’s rep, who laughed off the idea that her wedding will cost $50 million. The magazine chose the wrong Foster siblings. 18 Jan. According to OK!, the upcoming nuptials between the singer and the music producer will be “completely over the top” and cost an astronomical amount. For starters, Foster’s net worth is estimated to be around $30 million. 18 Jan. Meanwhile, the magazine claims to know all of the details about the couple’s ceremony, but fails to mention when it’s actually going to take place. Additionally, $50 million is an absurd price tag to put on a wedding. A supposed source tells the magazine, “The guest list is already past the 500 mark because they have a ton of Hollywood connections. “It’s going to be so different from her last wedding dress, and she’s having David’s daughters [Sara and Erin Foster] look at options with her.”
The seemingly phony source further contends that McPhee and Foster will perform a duet together. The magazine’s excerpt about the singer’s wedding gown is also fabricated. 2019. Magazine

The outlet’s alleged insider goes on to say that the couple will rent a Malibu mansion to use as the location, while Foster wants renowned chef Wolfgang Puck to oversee the menu. For comparison, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding cost $45 million, and most of that money was allotted to the massive security measures that needed to be taken, including hiring the military for protection. We also reached out to Foster’s spokesperson, who similarly assures us the outlet’s article is completely made-up. The music producer’s other daughters, Sara and Erin, didn’t accompany her. Liz Rosenberg, Spokesperson for David Foster. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the story. (Getty Images)
Katharine McPhee and David Foster are not having a $50 Million wedding, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Earlier this week, McPhee shared a photo of herself trying on wedding dresses. It seems unlikely the music producer plans to go $20 million into debt so he can throw a big party. 2018. Of course, the purported “insider” doesn’t happen to know what they’re talking about. It also points out how Princess Charlene of Monaco gave birth to twins at 36, while Crown Princess Mary of Denmark had her twins at the age of 38. Life & Style maintains it has an “insider” who has “exclusively” shares, “Meghan’s hinted numerous times that ‘double trouble’ lies ahead.” Its same anonymous and untraceable source adds how Markle has been “spotted affectionately putting her hand on her stomach and saying she can’t wait to meet ‘them.’” Meanwhile, asserts the publication, Prince Harry has “implied it’s ‘boys.’”
To back up its premise, the outlet accurately notes how the chances of conceiving twins when a woman is older than 35 increases for a variety of reasons. It’s also bears mentioning the photo on the magazine’s cover of Markle and Prince Harry’s “safari-themed nursery” is the same picture the outlet previously used for a piece about Mariah Carey’s twins’s nursery several years ago. This is actually the third “twins” cover Life & Style has published in the last six months, each with an entirely different narrative. “Watch an Adorably Nervous Prince Harry Talk About His and Meghan Markle’s ‘Upcoming Baby.'” People, 16 Oct. Weiss, Shari. “And Harry’s been helping, putting up shelves and ensuring everything is baby-friendly,” continues the seemingly made-up source. 2018. When Gossip Cop posed whether or not Markle is expecting twins, Kensington Palace directed us to its October 15 announcement on Twitter that reads, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” Significantly, Prince Harry said during a speech on his and Markle’s royal tour in Australia, “We also genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, be it a boy or a girl.” While the official stance is a single baby, it’s possible Markle is carrying twins and a much higher probability Life & Style is just guessing. It’s been reported that oddsmakers think an actual royal insider has been wagering big money, causing the avalanche of bets. While the current article about them having “twin boys” has Markle saying “double trouble lies ahead,” in the August piece it asserted Prince Harry told pals “double trouble lies ahead of him.”
Indeed, there has been speculation on both sides of the Atlantic about the Duchess’ pregnancy. “The More the Merrier: 24 Great Shared Spaces For Kids.” PopSugar, 10 Oct. 2015. Horten, Lisa. But none of that is the worst of it. (Life And Style)
Meghan Markle is having “a baby,” says Kensington Palace amid reports she’s pregnant with “twins.” One of the American tabloids even contends the Duchess of Sussex is carrying “twin boys, and they’re identical.” The magazine further asserts on its cover it has a photo of the babies’ “safari-themed nursery.” Gossip Cop investigates the claim. In August, the magazine declared Markle and Prince Harry were having twins, “two girls.”

In that manufactured article, the supposed source alleged Kate Middleton would be throwing a baby shower for Markle and had “hired a caterer to make pink cupcakes and a three-course lunch.” That’s the exact same quotation the purported “insider” utters in the latest cover story, only the word “blue” has been substituted for “pink.” And that’s not the only fabricated claim the tabloid cribbed from its previous tall tales. Clearly, he’s not “putting up shelves” at a baby-friendly height, nor is she ordering two cribs and “decorating a safari-themed nursery” in Kensington Palace. Celebrity Rumors Life & Style Meghan Markle
Senseney, Megan. Weiss, Shari. Perry, Simon. In June, for instance, Gossip Cop busted the tabloid when it claimed Markle and Prince Harry were having twins, “a boy and a girl.” Two months later, there was a slight gender change. “ookmakers suspend bets on Meghan Markle giving birth to twins after ‘unprecedented’ number are placed.” Daily Mail, 24 Nov. “Meghan Markle NOT Pregnant With ‘Two Girls,’ Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 22 Aug. Oddly, however, after previously contending for certain that Markle is having twins, the magazine writes less confidently, “There’s plenty of speculation she’s about to be initiated into the twin club.”
Next, the tabloid claims Kate Middleton is planning a baby shower and has “hired a caterer to make blue cupcakes and a three-course lunch.” Following that falsehood, the outlet further tips off how its “insider” doesn’t really have any insight at all when he or she alleges, “Meghan has been busy decorating a safari-themed nursery,” complete with two cribs, in their 21-room apartment at Kensington Palace. 2018.
“Prince Harry ‘Love Child’ Wrecking Wedding To Meghan Markle?” Gossip Cop, 17 Mar. 2018. It also bears mentioning that no legitimate British papers have written about this alleged heir. Nor is there a single word about how this unnamed and untraceable woman allegedly met Prince Harry. As stated above, the premise of the royal having an illegitimate child was first floated several months ago when the Globe contended Prince Harry’s “love child” was going to wreck his marriage to Markle. That’s the claim being made in a new tabloid report, but Gossip Cop can bust this bogus story. And yet, the magazine somehow knows for certain that if the royal ponied up $7,000 a month in child support, she would “never expose” him as the dad. Regardless, NW is using the phony narrative of her husband possibly having a secret “love child” to add a new and equally untrue angle. (Getty Images)
Are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle really caught in a “love child scandal”? It’s so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Now that Meghan’s pregnant, nobody would blame her for wanting answers and clearing this thing up once and for all before their baby is born.” Of course, if it were remotely true, it would have been cleared up well before she and Prince Harry wed. Celebrity Rumors Meghan Markle NW Magazine Prince Harry
Weiss, Shari. Actually, the article is based on a previous tale about Prince Harry fathering a little boy that was already debunked. Well, the two tied the knot before billions of people in May, so clearly nothing was wrecked. But he hasn’t been like that in many years. NW alleges a “palace insider” reveals, “These rumors have been circulating within the royal family,” adding, “There is some confusion and yes, alarm because if it were to be the case then an incredibly appalling scandal is in the making.” Of course, if it were really “the case,” there wouldn’t be any “rumors” or confusion”; the royal family would know something like that for sure. Still, Gossip Cop checked with Kensington Palace about the latest report, and it was met with laughter. But, as noted, it’s all coming from an old Globe story that asserted a woman left a note and a photo of a redheaded boy, along with a lawyer’s letter at Kensington Palace, insisting the child was “conceived during a one-night stand five years ago.” Naturally, no details about where or when the encounter supposedly took place are mentioned. According to NW, Prince Harry has an equally redheaded “love child,” and now Markle is “demanding answers.” After having enjoyed a two-week tour in the Pacific and looking like “the picture of wedded bliss,” the magazine maintains their marriage has been “shaken to the core” by a claim that Prince Harry “fathered a secret love child.” The outlet’s primary source of information is none other than the supermarket tabloid, the Globe, which earlier this year alleged the Duke of Sussex may have “impregnated a mystery woman during a night of passion in 2013.”
It appears this disproven claim is being dredged up now because Prince Harry is expecting a baby with his wife. It’s true, when he was younger Prince Harry was a more of a wild child, often pictured in less flattering ways. Simply, the idea of Prince Harry having a secret son was untrue then, and it remains false to this day.

Meghan Markle is not four months pregnant with twin girls, despite a false tabloid cover story. They’re so excited.” The supposed source goes on to say that the two girls will be named after Prince Harry’s grandmother Queen Elizabeth and his late mother, Princess Diana. Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a Kensington Palace staffer, who assures us that any pregnancy announcement would come from the royal family, not an American tabloid. “Meghan Markle Brings Her Mom Along For Her First Royal Hosting Event.” The Huffington Post. The “insider” further contends that it was the queen who “prodded” the newlyweds to start a family right away and Markle “felt a tremendous responsibility to get pregnant.” The suspicious source continues, “She was in a state of panic because she didn’t want to disappoint Harry, the queen and the whole royal family.”
From there, the magazine pretends to know how the royal family is reacting to the supposed baby news. “The baby that is born first will be called Diana, and the second will be Elizabeth,” adds questionable tipster. Gossip Cop can debunk the claim. And as widely reported, Markle and Prince Harry will be going on a 17-day tour of Australia from October 16 to October 31, including stops in New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji. 2018. The tabloid also maintains that Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, flew from Los Angeles to London on September 15 because “she wants to be with her daughter during this special time.” In reality, Markle’s mom flew to the U.K. An alleged insider tells the magazine, “They got lucky on their honeymoon! “Zika Travel Information.” Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Celebrity Rumors Meghan Markle Prince Harry
Weiss, Shari. According to Woman’s Day New Zealand, Prince Harry decided to mark the 100-day anniversary of his May 19 wedding at Windsor Castle by holding a second ceremony for just him and his new wife. And if there really was a mysterious “source,” why would they give the information to a New Zealand tabloid instead of one of the major British ones? Meanwhile, Woman’s Day has a very poor track record when it comes to accurately reporting about Markle and Prince Harry. The seemingly phony source continues, “In many ways, it was even more beautiful than their wedding at Windsor Castle… It was all a total surprise for Meghan and such an incredible thing for Harry to do.” Markle has dealt with a lot of family drama both leading up to and following her wedding, but “Harry popping the question again made her feel really loved and reassured that her husband is the kindest, most considerate man on the planet,” says the “insider.”
Of course, it seems highly unlikely that the royals renewed their vows just three months after their wedding. A questionable source says the royal wanted to renew their vows so soon because he’s “proud of how Meghan has managed her first 100 days as part of the royal family” and “loved the idea of redoing the wedding vows in a very private way.” The alleged insider adds, “This time, it was just for themselves – they didn’t have to share it with anyone.”
The magazine further contends that the couple’s second wedding “lasted just 20 minutes, ending with the pair exchanging their vows again” and “lighting a candle” in honor of Prince Harry’s late mom, Princess Diana. So who exactly is the mole that told a tabloid all about it? James’s Palace in London, where just the spouses and a minister were present. Also, the magazine sloppily can’t remember if its article is about the couple “redoing their wedding vows” or Prince Harry “popping the question again.”
Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a Kensington Palace source, who wasn’t able to go on the record, but did laugh off the report. Back in April, the outlet falsely claimed that Markle might become a “runaway bride.” Not only did she very happily walk down the aisle in May, but the magazine is now switching narratives. The supposed service is said to have been held at St. It seems even more unlikely that Woman’s Day New Zealand would be the only outlet in the world to have found out about it. It’s clear the publication has little insight into they royal couple’s marriage. (Getty Images)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did not renew their vows on August 27, just 100 days after their wedding, despite a made-up report. All of a sudden, Markle went from a “runaway bride” to getting married a second time? 2018. A report claiming Prince Harry is asking Idris Elba for “advice on how to be cool again” is completely made-up. It’s also absurd that Elba would find the royal “pathetic” for asking his advice on how to be cool, which never happened. Gossip Cop can debunk the ridiculous premise. Ryan, Lisa. 30 Aug. According to RadarOnline, Prince Harry recently asked for the actor’s help to make him “smoother” so he can better satisfy his wife. 30 Aug. An alleged insider tells the blog, “It’s ironic Harry is turning to Idris for advice, as he used to be the ‘party Prince’ who loved the ladies… but since marrying Meghan, he’s become a shadow of his former self.”
The supposed source adds, “Harry has totally lost any cool he once had, he now sees Idris as the answer.” The seemingly nonexistent insider goes on to say that the royal “quizzed [Elba] on how to be as cool as he is,” but the actor “must think it’s all a bit pathetic.”
The site’s storyline is completely fabricated. On Thursday, BuzzFeed wrote, “Everyone knows Prince Harry is the coolest member of the Royal Family.” And in July, New York Magazine reported that Prince Harry and Markle “showed up looking so sleek, so stylish, so incredibly attractive… like a cool aunt and uncle” at the baptism of his newborn nephew Prince Louis. “Halle Berry’s Reaction To Prince Harry Having A Poster Of Her In His Dorm Is Totally Perfect.” BuzzFeed. While additional events for September have not yet been revealed, it’s already known October will be a busy month for the couple. Of course, Life & Style was making it all up last week, and is quite obviously doing so again now. The actual story, however, is about a supposed future trip. The tabloid doesn’t seem to realize that that Markle just had much of August off, with her and Prince Harry even having time to visit the Clooneys in Italy. “She’s holding a crisis meeting with her mom, who has some insight into her ex-husband’s behavior and is hoping to help Meghan figure out how to handle him,” contends another anonymous “insider.” It’s not explained why this “crisis meeting” has to be done with Markle in Los Angeles, as opposed to over the phone or having Ragland go to London, but the outlet maintains she “hopes that spending time with her mother in LA will help her find peace.” It’s further asserted that Prince Harry “agrees that Meghan needs some quality time with mom.”
One of the purported “insiders” goes on to claim that while Markle would prefer to stay at her mom’s home, the palace may “rent a mansion for them to stay in” for “security reasons.” Insists one of the publication’s untraceable sources, “She’ll also catch up with old friends during her trip to California. Now, though, it’s back to work. As for the contentions in the story, amid ongoing drama with Markle’s family, a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “She’s at a breaking point. Shuster, Andrew. It is one of many articles a certain site has manufactured about the intimate lives of celebrities. But in the midst of this tense battle, with both sides slinging mud back and forth, she’s day-dreaming about their past love-making? Bueno, Antoinette. Gossip Cop. “Angelina Jolie NOT Pushing For ‘Quickie’ Divorce To Marry English Billionaire, Despite Report.” Gossip Cop, 22 Aug. Is she looking for something without strings attached, or rushing her divorce from the actor so she can marry a secret British boyfriend? And now here is the Brangelina edition, which comes almost exactly a year after HollywoodLife spread fake news about Jolie “embracing celibacy.” Notably, at the time nothing was said about the actress having “fears” about finding a suitable replacement for Pitt. Over the last year and a half, the outlet has claimed to know what goes down in the bedrooms of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson, Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, and more couples. According to the fiction factory, Jolie “can’t deny that he’s sexy as hell” and is “still going to miss him — in more ways than one.”
To give credence to this ridiculous tale, the blog quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “As angry as Angie still is she does admit that Brad was the best sex she’s ever had.” This untraceable tipster goes on to assert, “Even though Brad’s the last thing she wants to be thinking about when it comes to her sex life, she just can’t help it because he was everything to her.” But underscoring how absurd these claims are, the website editorializes, “You would think that Angelina’s recent behavior in their custody battle would mean that she’s over and done with Brad.”
To that end, the almost assuredly nonexistent “source” later asserts Jolie is “ready to get her groove back and interested in finding a lover, someone she can meet up with when Brad has the kids,” and wants “no-strings-attached fun.” Declares the outlet, “Scandalous!” Actually, this is a classic example of the online publication concocting a scandal. “Once Again, @HollywoodLife Has A Well-Placed ‘Source’ Underneath Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Bed. A story about how Angelina Jolie supposedly “fears” she will never be able to “replace” Brad Pitt is made-up. 2018. What makes this new story all the more preposterous is that Jolie has spent much of August ramping up her custody fight with Pitt. The claims aren’t believable in the context of what’s actually going on between the exes right now, and they’re even less credible considering just a day ago the site said Jolie was rushing to marry someone else. This latest piece is also evidence that the website is obsessed with peddling purported “exclusives” about celebrities’ sex lives. These are articles were posted by the site less than 24 hours apart (see screengrabs below), yet they’re completely inconsistent with one another. “Angelina Jolie ‘Embracing Celibacy After Brad Pitt Split’ Is Fake News.” Gossip Cop, 31 Aug. Combined with the blog’s documented history of fabricating salacious stories about stars getting it on, it’s readily apparent this is just one more made-up article to add to the trash pile. “Angelina Jolie ‘Ramping Up a Battle’ in Brad Pitt Custody Case.” Entertainment Tonight, 7 Aug. Though Jolie has “waged a bitter divorce battle against” Pitt, HollywoodLife is claiming to have “learned exclusively” that she is “scared she’ll never get sex that good again.” Yes, that is the actual premise of the article. 2017. Is she worried she’ll never find a replacement for Pitt in the bedroom, or is she trying to “get her groove” on? This dichotomy is proof that the blog doesn’t actually know what it’s talking about. So, which is it? Weiss, Shari.
So in addition to not fact-checking the magazine’s article, HollywoodLife apparently didn’t understand it, either. 2018. #TBT.” That makes it pretty obvious why the publication would be inspired to make this story up. 2018. The tabloid was also provably mistaken in June when it claimed Spears was “falling apart.” Time has shown we were right to debunk that, given that the singer is currently touring without issue. recently, she was sure that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wanted just that.” A so-called “spy” is quoted as saying, “Britney had her assistant write notes to Buckingham and Kensington palaces requesting audiences with the newlyweds and Queen Elizabeth.”
But it’s alleged Spears was “shocked to receive a letter back from both palaces — not from the royals themselves — saying everyone was too busy to meet her.” Laments the tabloid’s untraceable source, “Poor Britney didn’t understand, she thought everyone wanted to meet her.” This supposed snitch goes on to claim Spears was “offered a meeting” with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, “but said, ‘Oh aren’t they the boring ones with the funny hats?’”
The outlet further contends Spears “hoped (in vain) that Prince William and Duchess Kate would cut their Mystique vacation [sic] short to meet her.” Maintains the alleged tipster, “She didn’t realize royals had commitments. One more glaring problem? Weiss, Shari. (Getty Images)

But the original Star story said nothing about Spears inviting any of the royals to her shows. “Britney Spears on Instagram: ‘Throwback to Exploring London with the Boys! She thought they just dressed up and hung out in a ‘court.’” Clearly this storyline is trying to play off the misconception that Spears is just a dumb blonde. But Gossip Cop suspects there’s another reason why this narrative was concocted: Spears and her sons visited Buckingham Palace, like thousands of other tourists, earlier this month. Can’t Wait to Be Back for #PieceOfMe next Week! Noting Spears’ UK concert dates, the site claims “there were some special guests she reportedly wanted to have in the audience: the royal family,” but “none of them accepted their invites.” The blog wonders about Middleton and Markle, “Why in the world wouldn’t they want to see her in concert?” The website goes on to editorialize, “Hey, it’s their loss, though. “Britney Spears and Sons Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11 Visit Buckingham Palace.” Daily Mail Online, 3 Aug. Yes, there was speculation during Markle’s courtship with Prince Harry about how the queen felt about her grandson dating a divorced actress from the United States. Others have also written about Markle being “at ease” with the queen, pointing out their “increasingly close, warm relationship.” It’s also been reported how Markle is “winning over” Queen Elizabeth.
